**Weekend Recap** {2.3.2020}

Happy Monday!! We have had a great weekend. We started out Friday with a date night. Addison spent the night with my parents. Joey and I went to look for some new lamps for our bedroom. #goals After getting the new bed and bedding, our other lamps just didn’t match anymore. We went to Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Home Goods, TJ Maxx and decided on some from Hobby Lobby. I am very happy with them! We had worked up an appetite, so we went to eat and splurge on some dessert to share. #greatending

Saturday morning I cleaned and started on the inevitable pile of laundry. I organized a few things then decided to run some errands solo since Addison was still with my parents. #score

I went to Home Goods first to look for some Valentine’s/Spring-like decorations. I found a cute new wreath to hang on the front door. Then I headed to Target.

This is me sitting in the car being oh so excited!!

We went and picked up Addison around lunch. She took a nap, then we started getting her ready for her date night with her Daddy. These are some pictures I got of her at the house.

Here’s her with Joey. He’s such a good Daddy and would do anything for his little girl. She was so excited!!

Her flowers.

Here’s me and my girl.

Here are some pictures they sent me. They had the best time. Chick-fil-A sure knows how to do it right. I mean, Elsa and Anna… Addison was star struck.

Finished it off with some Ice Cream.

Meanwhile, while they were having a blast together, I was off having a girl’s night out. We went to Ipp’s. We enjoyed some adult beverages, delicious Italian, and great laughs. Just what we all needed. Here we are at the end of the night, the only picture we captured. #gno

Sunday morning, Addison woke up semi-early and crawled into bed with us. I was just super thankful that she slept all night. We are still having issues with her waking up being scared. Here’s sleeping beauty all snuggled in our bed.

After breakfast, Joey decided to go to church. I had a lot to do to get ready for the week. I prepped a casserole and doubled the recipe. So, I was able to freeze half. #win

I made some sausage/egg muffins for us for the week. I sliced up Addison some strawberries for the week to send to her Aunt Cindy’s. I started putting together Valentine’s for my students. I made/organized the bed upstairs that we had moved our old mattress to. I washed/changed the sheets on our bed. Then I sat down to work on this blog post. #busy

This is my view as I’m walking through the living room. Haha!

After Joey returned, we ate some lunch then headed to visit one of his Granny’s whom we hadn’t seen since before Christmas.

On the way back home, we stopped by Costco to grab some things. I wanted to grab some meat for the month, and we needed a few other items. We went to my parents to eat dinner then settled in for some Super Bowl commercials. 😉

I hope you guys have a great day!!

xoxo
