Our weekends have definitely not looked like normal Springtime weekends. Typically, our weekends are full of Family & Friend BBQ’s and Birthday parties, Dance Recitals, and lots of other events that involve large crowds. However, as everyone knows, that’s just not happening this year. So, we have been doing a whole lot of at-home projects and lots of family time! Which has been awesome too!
We went hiking and enjoyed visiting James H. Sloppy Floyd State Park one Saturday.
We’ve eaten lots of ice cream.
We went camping one weekend and enjoyed beautiful outdoor time.
One weekend, we went to a local drive-thru petting zoo. We saw lots of awesome animals and even fed some.
We worked on some home projects like Addison’s playroom and some new flower beds.
We’ve built bonfires and roasted smores.
We’ve enjoyed eating outside “picnic” style meals at our house.
We have played outside a lot and have loved every minute of it! 🙂
We have enjoyed movie days and nights. And just being a little extra lazy.
This past weekend, we celebrated the Mom’s in our lives. On Saturday, we had a little BBQ get together with Joey’s Mom. We had tons of laughs, some singing, and lots of eating. It was great seeing everybody!
Sunday, we celebrated with my Mom. We left mid-morning and headed out for a little car ride toward Chattanooga, Tennessee. We made a few stops along the way. We mostly just drove around. It was lots of fun!
She has no personality at all…. 😉
Here’s our upcoming topics.
So, that’s pretty much our weekends lately. I have enjoyed these cooler temps, but this summer lovin’ girl is ready for some warmer temps. I mean low to mid 80’s would be perfect for me! 😉
If you have any other at-home recommendations for fun, I’d love to hear them. 🙂
I hope you all have a fabulous day!! Thank you for stopping by. See you back here on Friday for some favorites!!
