**Weekend Recap** {8.3.2020}
Happy Monday, and Happy 1st day of school for us! I’m sure when you read this, we will be at school welcoming our students.
Friday, was my work bestie’s birthday! We indulged in some cookie cake and had a great day celebrating.
Saturday was spent running a few errands in the morning for some last minute school things, zucchini bread making, and cleaning. Joey and the guys worked on the barn until just after lunch. Then, we just relaxed around here. I worked on some lesson plans while Joey and Addison napped.
That night, we ran to grab a bite to eat and tried to go to Costco but didn’t realize they changed their hours. So, we didn’t make it before closing. 🙁
Sunday, we woke up to tip-tapping of footprints. She came and crawled in the bed with us and we got some snuggles in. Joey, our weekend breakfast chef, got up and started breakfast. After breakfast, we decided to go ride around a little bit and maybe get out and enjoy some nature.
It was a pretty steep hike, and very Hot and Humid, but once we got to the water it was worth it. 🙂
We even saw a cute, baby turtle.
We had a nice walk in the woods. When we got back from the hike, we ate a snack in the truck then headed to get some ice cream downtown. We felt like after our walk, we deserved a treat. Ha! Addison definitely enjoyed it. 😉
We got our baths done, our clothes set out, our lunches packed, and our prayers said. We got our sweet teachers these for our first day gift tomorrow. Thank you for loving on and taking care of our Addison.
