**Weekend Recap** Halloween 2020 Edition

Happy Monday!! Did you guys have a good Halloween weekend? We did! And ours was an extra two days longer because of the storm. I’m just so glad the power came back on, and nothing was really damaged.

Friday morning, we still didn’t have power. Joey was able to make it to work Friday. Addison and I ran to Target and grabbed some donuts at a local bakery. So delicious!

When we got back home, the power was back on! Yay!! Addison and I went over to visit my Papa with my Mom. While there, Addison face planted on the sidewalk. Her poor little nose bled for a little bit, but she’s one tough cookie.

While she napped, I made a chocolate brownie trifle.

That evening was the perfect weather for an outside fire.

Saturday morning, Joey and my Dad headed out early to go to a turkey shoot. Mom, Addison and I ran to Trader Joe’s, Costco, and Old Navy.

Addison wanted a picture by the pumpkin display. 🙂

That afternoon, Joey went to his brother’s to help with some tree cleanup. Addison napped then we were up and ready for some trick or treating.

We had a little Rapunzel concert at Joey’s Moms.

Joey’s sister and family joined us in trick or treating. So much fun!

Then we went to see my parents.

Next, we went to visit Joey’s granny.

They played for a minute.

After that, we went to Joey’s Dads house.

It’s not easy getting a picture with this wiggle worm. My Sorel waterproof boots are now on sale!! Some colors aren’t on sale. The wedge makes them super cute, and I can wear them all day at school, and they don’t hurt my feet. #ad

They had so much candy, just from those stops… we went and grabbed some food.

We drove through a busy neighborhood on the way home. We didn’t need any more candy, so we didn’t get out. It was just fun seeing the decorations and all the cute costumes. We also saw some friends.

We hurried home to watch this gem. I remember watching this as a little kid. Watching it now made me realize how cheesy it was.

Sunday we slept in for a little bit despite the time change. Addison was up and ready to put her new puzzle together.

We went out to meet Joey’s mom and Uncles at his Grandpa’s grave. On Tuesday, it will be a year since he passed away. 🙁

The drive out to the cemetery is beautiful.

Last night we ate dinner with my parents and enjoyed some more trifle. On Wednesday’s post, I have plans of going down memory lane. I hope you guys have the best week. 🙂
