**Hello Monday** {2.8.2021}
Well, hello Monday… here you are again. I don’t know where the weekend went, but we are eagerly counting down until our February break. Friday cannot come fast enough. 😉
We stayed pretty busy this weekend. I must have been stressing about all that we had to do because Saturday morning, I was wide awake at 5:00.
I read a while, and Addison found me in the living room and snuggled for a little bit. We watched some “Lady and the Tramp”.
Addison practiced some writing and schoolwork in one of her favorite dot-to-dot books.
We had a lot of cleaning and packing to do… We stopped for a little break to work on her class Valentines all while wearing Snow White, of course. Ha!
We ran some errands Saturday night, and went to eat at one of our favorite places. Addison wanted pictures with/of everyone.
We got home, and she wanted a sweet treat while she worked on one of her favorite Alphabet puzzles.
We woke up Sunday morning to a little bit of snow.
We got the cutest craft idea from one of my best girlfriends, Caroline. See her post here. Addison loved doing all the little dots! It turned out so cute, and I can’t wait to bring it out every year for Valentine’s day. All you need is a canvas (I used 8×10), paint and q-tips. I just taped a heart cut-out on the canvas and then removed when it was all dry. Get to dotting.
We decided to go visit with some of the grandparents and great-grandparents yesterday. We hadn’t seen the greats in a few months. We went to see Joey’s Mom first.
Then, we went to visit with his Granny. She and Addison played with cars.
Then, we went to visit with my Papa. He measured her height. 😉 44 inches
And of course she got a strawberry ice cream cone.
We got back home, Addison napped, I started cooking and working on some school stuff and this blog post. Of course Sunday night, like always, just flies by.
Did anyone watch the Super Bowl or the Commercials? Ha! We didn’t end up watching and just devoured in some Hallmark. lol
