Happy Wednesday!! Today is a little link-up party. I’m linking up with Shay from MixandMatchMamaand Erika from ALittleBitofEverythingto talk about my Love Language.
Joey and I read “The 5 Love Languages” when we first got married. I remember the book being full of interesting information, and I learned a lot about myself and about my spouse just by reading it and taking the quiz.
So, we have been married 8 years, and I decided to take the quiz again. We both have grown a lot in these years, and we have Addison now. So, I was intrigued to see if it had changed.

Back in 2012, most of my points were in Receiving Gifts and Words of Affirmation categories. Eight years later, these are my results.
I’m going to be honest, I was a little shocked by the results. Then I got to actually thinking about my life and how busy we are and realized, of course it’s Act of Service. When Joey helps around the house, which he helps me a lot, it makes me so happy!
After I took the test and shared my results, he said “Honey, you should be all over me all the time then, because that’s all I do is help you out”. Bahahaha! He does help around the house a lot, and I am forever grateful for him and his servant heart.
Here’s the breakdown of my results.
I then asked Joey to take the test again. He grumbled about it a little. 😉 Here are his results.
He was very shocked! He actually said he might do a re-test. He said, “I don’t even like spending time with you”. Hahahaha!
And here’s his breakdown.
If you’re looking for something fun to do while staying in for a date night, check out the online quiz here. Or if you just want to learn more about each other, I would recommend it. Just a little something to do during these mundane times. 🙂
Here is the list of topics for the upcoming months. Next month, it’s all about the perfect night in.

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be sharing our weekly favorites on Friday! Can’t wait!

That is hilarious! But I can totally see how Love Languages would change over time; when my kids were little I was all about acts of service as it felt so overwhelming at times taking care of 3 littles ones all day plus housework.
