**What’s Up Wednesday** {2.24.2021}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month. On this day, I link up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I am sharing a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us lately. And thankfully, we actually have been busy lately.  

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

This week, I was just grabbing random things to cook. Nothing fancy around here. 

Sunday: Fried Fish, Baked Potato, Salad

Monday: Salad, Spaghetti ( I never brown ground beef without this little gadget). 

Tuesday: Trader Joe’s Teriyaki Chicken, Fried Rice, Sautéed Vegetables

Wednesday: Leftover Spaghetti 

Thursday: Pizza night

Friday: Jambalaya

Saturday: Kitchen’s closed! 

2. What I’m Reminiscing About: 

This was 5 years ago… right before we found out we were pregnant. How life has gotten so much sweeter since then. 

This memory popped up from 4 years ago… I was getting ready to go back to work from maternity leave. I was getting all the baby snuggles in that I could. 

These memories from last February… 2020… before everything shut down and changed. 🙁 

This was Daddy/Daughter night at CFA… they had the best time. 

We also had a big snow last year in February. 

Last year on our February break, we went to Pigeon Forge in Tenneesee. 

3. What I’m Loving:

I’m loving this candle from Anthropologie. 

You guys, hop on over to Target because my favorite Cordless Stick Vacuum is on sale!! 

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

We just got back on Saturday from a weeklong trip to Disney. I shared about Days 1 & 2 here.

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m not really dreading anything right now. 😉 

 

6. What I’m Working On: 

I’m working on this blog post as well as some school work. 

I am also busy planning our upcoming trips. 

 

7. What I’m Excited About: 

I am really excited about the weather getting warmer. Goodbye cold weather… Hello Sandals and Short Sleeves. The weather this week has been great so far. We are supposed to have upper 60’s today, so I’m really excited! 

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

We are almost through with The Crown. We are halfway through Season 4… this show was a doozy, but I am really liking this season so far. Season 3 was hard for me to get through. 

I finished Firefly Lane on Netflix last week. I was very saddened by the end. Even though I read Kristin Hannah’s novel years ago, I can’t for the life of me remember it. I may have to reread it just to see if it gives me any clues on what’s to come. 

I finished “This is Not How it Ends” last week. The beginning was a little slow, but I’m glad I kept reading. I really enjoyed this one, and I would definitely recommend it! 🙂

I just started Kristin Hannah’s newest novel, “The Four Winds“. I’m about 75 pages in, and the beginning has been a little slow. But, I can tell that it’s starting to get good. Can’t wait to keep reading this one. Now, if I can just find the time. 🙂

9. What I’m Listening To: 

Right now I’m listening to some sing-along that Addison is playing/watching on Netflix.  

10. What I’m Wearing: 

Does anyone else hate buying underwear? I mean, I will buy other clothes all day, but I don’t know what it is that I don’t like to bite the bullet and get new underwear. Anyone else? Just me? 

Needless to say, it was time to get some new pairs. These are my absolute favorites, and I ended up going ahead and buying 4 pairs. They’re the best around, and they’re so comfortable. 

I wore these joggers from Amazon a couple of times while at Disney, and they were amazing! I am so glad that I found them!

I ordered these slightly distressed Wit & Wisdom jeans last month and am still loving them! Those of you who know me, know my love for these jeans run deep. They have such great stretch and wash and wear so well! I also love the Ab-solution technology in the waist band. Definitely size down at least one size in these!

I still love my skinny jeans and side part…. and this is how I feel about it. Hahaha! 

And these Wit & Wisdom Raw-Hem skinny jeans (yep) have been great too. I don’t love the coloring as much as my other pair… They’re very dark, but I do love the way they fit and the cute raw hem. 

And I’m rocking my side part. 😉 

Anyone else ordered the new Tory Burch Cloud Miller Sandals? How do you feel about them? I mean, I have 3 pairs of the original Miller Sandals, but am kindof intrigued. They look super comfortable! Kindof a mesh between the original Miller’s and Birkenstocks. What do you guys think?

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend: 

I don’t really know what we have going on this weekend. I know I need to do some house cleaning and organizing. I feel like since we were out of town, it just got really out of hand. 

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

Addison has some dress up days next month at school, so we will be preparing for all of those. 

I’m not really sure what else we have going on in March. 

13. What Else is New:

This foot cream from Amazon is truly the best thing that I’ve found for rough feet.
