**Hello Monday** {4.26.2021}

Hello Beautiful Monday! How was everyone’s weekend? We had a fun, busy weekend!

We started off Friday night, running to get burgers then going by Mom & Dads. They had a surprise for Addison. They got her a butterfly house with some caterpillars who will be turning into butterflies. We will get to watch the process!

While there, Addison had to have a flower. Her rhododendrons are just starting to bloom.

Saturday morning was very rainy. We needed the rain though so we weren’t complaining too much. The only reason we were a little sad was because we were celebrating Adalynn’s birthday. We definitely made the most of the party!

Look at these two party animals. 😉

Sunday morning we were up and on our way to church.

After church, we rushed home to change clothes and head to the strawberry patch. And, it was busy! Like crazy busy.

Where it had rained so much on Saturday, the fields were pretty muddy. I was glad I had thrown in Addison’s boots.

We waited in line about 20 minutes to check out. We had to grab some ice cream too!

She has grown so much since our last trip to the strawberry patch two years ago. 🙁

I don’t know what was going on with my blog on Friday. I set it to go live at 5:15 Friday morning. I didn’t even check it and didn’t have any time Friday to look. The only reason I figured it out was because Caroline texted me about 4:30 that evening asking if I was busy at school and that’s why I didn’t post. #sigh

Anyway, if you missed it, here it is!

Thank you all for reading about our weekend. I will see you back here on Wednesday for our last Wednesday of the month link-up.

    My boys and I had that same habitat and we’ve hatched butterflies a few times now; it is so fun to see their transformation. My boys often got to hold butterflies in their hand when we were releasing them. I can’t wait to go strawberry picking this summer and really, really hope we don’t have to be quite as socially distant as last year and have to wear masks in the field… it wasn’t much fun picking last year at all but I do love the taste of them.
