**What’s up Wednesday** {4.28.2021}
It’s the last Wednesday of the month. On this day, I link up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I’m sharing a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us lately. Can you believe summer is just around the corner! Crazy! and So Excited!! I can almost smell the sunscreen.
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
Sunday: Fried Salmon patties, Baby Lima Beans, Butternut Squash, Mac-n-Cheese
Monday: Salad, Lasagna
Tuesday: Out to eat to celebrate my Dad’s birthday
Wednesday: Pot Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans
Thursday: Leftover Lasagna
Friday: Leftover Pot Roast
Saturday: Kitchen’s closed! Out to Eat!
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
I love looking back at the pictures from last year at this time. We were in a shutdown, but we were still having so much fun and trying to make the best out of a crazy situation. This was when we went hiking one weekend and saw some awesome falls.
And here we were visiting the drive-thru zoo. I feel like we had so much more family, together, time. I hate to say it, but I do miss having more time together.
These memories were from two years ago when we took the girls to see Disney on Ice.
This memory was from 3 years ago when we went camping with my parents. We were visiting the Wild Animal Safari.
It looks like we have a theme of visiting wild animals in April. 😉
3. What I’m Loving:
I’m loving the warmer weather. I am not loving all the pollen. However, the rain this past weekend washed away a lot of it. Thank you!
My Bum Bum cream arrived over the weekend, and so far I love it! The smell is amazing. Just like the beach. It’s a very rich cream. Goes on like butter! Hoping it reduces my jiggle from looking like butter. Ha! 😉
I’ve also started using this Magic Cream moisturizer. It’s thick but goes on smoothly. It’s not greasy though because nobody wants that. I would highly recommend.
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We have been working outside a lot.
We planted our garden.
We spread mulch in our flower beds and also spread pine straw.
We went to the strawberry patch this past weekend and loved it as always. Addison ate them just as fast as we picked them. They are always so good.
5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m not dreading anything right now. 😉
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on all the end of the year things at school. I’ve been working on our school’s schedule for next year. I’ve bene working on certificates for the end of year. I’m also working on planning for our retirement party in a couple weeks. It’s such a busy time right now.
Anyone else also been preparing for teacher gifts. This week is Addison’s Teacher’s Appreciation week at her school, so we have been sending in all the love!
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am always really stressed out this time of year, but I’m also giddy with excitement about all the fun things that are happening.
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
I am almost done with Good Girls. I’m actually on the last episode. What else should I watch? I need something funny and light.
I tried to get into Bridgerton and Outlander, but they were just too much for me…. #iykyk
I’m still watching Grey’s Anatomy. Just can’t quit…. I’m not a quitter! Ha!
I read “The Flatshare“, and I loved it! I mean it was very predictable, but I loved how the characters intertwined and never actually met. If you’re looking for a quick, light read, Read this! Trust me!
I’m currently reading “It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover. I am almost finished with it, and I love it! I noticed that it had almost 15,000 4.5 + stars, so thought it was probably a good choice! It’s about a girl named Lily who grew up in a small town in Maine and moved to Boston in her early 20s. She has a secretive friend in high school which left a lasting imprint on her. So, when she meets a new guy in her adult life, it seems too good to be true. However, twists and turns happens, and I just couldn’t put it down. Trust me, you should read it!
9. What I’m Listening To:
I’m listening to Addison giggle while she’s dancing to one of her old Elmo dancing toys she found in the toy box. Since moving her toys upstairs to the toy room, it’s amazing how her old toys are coming back around as favorites.
10. What I’m Wearing:
I ordered these pants from old Navy this past weekend. My teacher friend wore them, and I thought “I have to have those”. I was shocked she told me they were from Old Navy. I can’t wait to wear them to school. They look so comfortable! I mean who doesn’t love a drawstring pant.
I also ordered these high-waisted linen shorts. I must be having a thing with linen too. I love the rose color and can’t wait to wear them this summer.
I have so many things from Accessory Concierge. Right now, through Midnight tonight (April 28th) everything is 30% off with the Code: MOM.
One of my favorite necklaces is the SIMS Stone. I have it in both the Turquoise and Ivory. They would make an awesome Mother’s day gift!
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
I’m hoping we work on getting our pool ready. Then possibly go ride up to the mountains and go hiking and fishing. Make a day trip out of it. 🙂
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
I will be out of school next month, so definitely excited about that! We have a vacation planned next month, and I’m looking forward to lots of pool time!
13. What Else is New:
Although it should just say in a few days…. Can’t believe it’s almost May.
Thank you all for reading. I am so grateful for all of you! I hope you have an awesome day!! See you back here on Friday! 🙂

Oh, I LOVED It Ends With Us — the ending was perfection! And I am really loving both those pants and the shorts. Maybe I need to make a visit to Old Navy again.
