**What’s up Wednesday** {10.27.2021}
It’s the last Wednesday of the month. Today, I’m linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I am sharing a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us lately. I can’t believe it’s already the end of October! I feel like I was just typing this post for September.
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
This week, I was just grabbing random things to cook. Since it’s just the two of us this week, we aren’t going too elaborate.
Sunday: Pizza
Monday: Salad, Spaghetti ( I never brown ground beef without this little gadget).
Tuesday: Grilled Salmon, Baked Potato, Vegetables
Wednesday: Leftover Spaghetti
Thursday: Chicken Nachos
Friday and Saturday: Out of Town
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
This was 3 years ago…look at my sweet girl. This day just seems like yesterday.
I am loving all the Fall and pumpkin memories that are popping up! Like these from the County fair two years ago.
This was from last year.
All the Halloween costumes are making me emotional too.
3. What I’m Loving:
I’m loving these velvet hangers! They keep my tops nice and neat and don’t stretch the necks as they hang. And, they are narrow, so I can squeeze more clothes in my closet. 😉 #winwin
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We have been doing all the Fall fun things lately. We are soaking up every minute that we can.
Addison went on her first Field Trip to the Farm.
We went camping at the beginning of this month. I can’t believe that it has been a month. It seems like forever ago.
5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m dreading the colder weather. I know it comes with the Holidays, but I’m not excited about it. Next week and the end of this week is supposed to be a lot colder.
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on planning some upcoming trips. Both of them are girls trips!
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am excited about the Holiday season coming! I mean this weekend is Halloween. Then, Thanksgiving. Then, Christmas will be here.
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
Joey and I have been watching Maid on Netflix. It’s definitely a drama. No humor in the show. The love and perseverance the main character has is inspiring. Her story is so sad and heart wrenching.
I also watched LuLa Rich on Amazon Prime. It was a big, huge train wreck. I was just shocked how crazy the company sky rocketed and then crashed just as quickly. How much money some of the retailers made was insane!
I need some other shows! Please send me some recommendations!
This month has been a slow month for reading. I started reading “The Paper Palace”, and I’m still reading it. It’s not that I don’t like it, but I’m just not finding as much time to read. Probably because I’m packing every available minute with Fall fun. No time to read.
This book is one of Reese’s Book Club picks, so I know it’s good. Here’s the summary from Amazon.
“It is a perfect July morning, and Elle, a fifty-year-old happily married mother of three, awakens at “The Paper Palace”—the family summer place which she has visited every summer of her life. But this morning is different: last night Elle and her oldest friend Jonas crept out the back door into the darkness and had sex with each other for the first time, all while their spouses chatted away inside. Now, over the next twenty-four hours, Elle will have to decide between the life she has made with her genuinely beloved husband, Peter, and the life she always imagined she would have had with her childhood love, Jonas, if a tragic event hadn’t forever changed the course of their lives. As Heller colors in the experiences that have led Elle to this day, we arrive at her ultimate decision with all its complexity. Tender yet devastating, The Paper Palace considers the tensions between desire and dignity, the legacies of abuse, and the crimes and misdemeanors of families.”
Please send me some book recommendations!
9. What I’m Listening To:
Addison is watching Arthur’s Halloween on her Kindle, so I hear that as I’m working on the blog.
10. What I’m Wearing:
I’m very pumped about sweater weather! I have a little line up of some sweaters that I think will be perfect this Fall!
I’m starting with this one from Amazon. I’m loving the rust color and the slouchy look. Looks so comfy.
Right now, I’m really loving the balloon sleeve style. I think it’s really flattering and just fun. This one comes in lots of colors, but I’m digging the Apricot which looks more like a light beige.
I am really loving this cargo jacket from Amazon. My favorite colors are the Dusty Olive and the Surplus.
I have still been ordering lots of things from a favorite Georgia boutique, Jules & James.
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
This weekend Addison and I are going on a trip with my Mom and Aunt to the mountains. We are really excited for lots of food and many laughs. 😉
And it’s Halloween! So lots of trick or treating with Moana.
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
Next month, I have a girl’s trip planned with my college friends. I am ready for that!
And my baby girl turns FIVE! Which I’m not really looking forward to, but I know it will be so much fun for her.
I am also looking forward to Santa pictures and Thanksgiving!
13. What Else is New:
Not really anything new to report.
Thank you all for reading and supporting my blog. I am so thankful for all of you! I hope you have an awesome day!! See you back here on Friday!

I’ve been thinking of getting those hangers! I am so sick of my shirts falling off the old plastic ones. Hope you have a great weekend.
