**Hello Monday** {1.30.2023}
We started off Friday morning with a red eye, thought it was just allergies, but realized later that it was pink eye.
I organized a Jersey Mikes lunch at school. It was so nice and easy to not have to worry about making my lunch.
We headed to Urgent Care that afternoon to confirm the pink eye diagnosis, and we immediately started her on the eye drops.
I ran by Nothing Bundt Cakes to grab a Bundtlet for her.
We grabbed some dinner at Buffalos, ran to Costco to grab some things, then early to bed.
The next morning, her eyes looked so much better! Most of the redness and gunk was gone! Hooray!
I did some laundry and cleaning, then ran to Publix to grab some things for the week. I went quickly because we had a basketball game at 12:15.
Anyone tried these Goodie Girl Cookies? They are delicious! You can’t even tell their gluten free!
We were down 2 players, so these sweet girls had no subs. They all played so well and hard! Coach Erin and I were so proud of them! It was definitely a nail biter, but we ended up losing right at the end. We have sweet sweet girls on our team.
After the game, we headed back home for a bit. Joey worked on cleaning and waxing the outside of the camper, and I worked on the inside. It’s amazing how many little spider webs develop when you’re not using it.
After cleaning, we got dressed and headed to look for some furniture. I want a new breakfast table. We have had ours since I lived with Caroline, in the apartment, before we got married. We were in need of an upgrade.
We found one then headed to grab some dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. Me with my best girl.
On our way home, the hot red sign caught our attention and it beckoned us to get some Hot donuts. Addison informed us that she’d never had a warm donut before. So, we had to change that. 😉
That night, after Addison went to bed, Joey and I watched Shotgun Wedding on Amazon Prime. Have you seen it? It was cute.
Joey got up early and headed out for a run. I got up and enjoyed some quiet reading time.
Then, I ended up ordering this storage bench from Wayfair. LOL All of Addison’s toys and games were getting overwhelming in our living room area. It’s supposed to arrive tomorrow. I’ll take a picture of it, and share with you all, once it arrives.
Addison played around with her makeup.
And, it was around this time that I realized my eye was starting to burn and feeling very red. I had gotten Addison’s pink eye! It was feeling fine now, but by later in the day it was swollen and killing me!
We decided to head to the park, to get some fresh air, before the rain arrived. I noticed these Jonquils blooming. It makes me excited for Spring and warmer weather!
We did some bike riding. Then she did some scootering while we walked. The weather was chilly but not too bad. And, it started raining about the time we were leaving.
We went over to Penny’s house (Joey’s Mom) and visited with her a little while. Addison and Adalynn played.
We got home, and I switched out the sheets on the bed and did some more laundry. We did some meal prepping for the week. Then went ahead and got our baths/showers.
We went to Dad and Mom’s house for dinner. She made a delicious meal of ham, pinto beans, potatoes, roasted cauliflower and cornbread. She made blondies for dessert. Wow, it was so good, but I was so full!
After we get home, I worked on this post, finalized our lunches and clothes for tomorrow, then headed to bed early. I needed to rest my eyes. Have a great start to your week!
