**Hello Monday** {9.25.2023}

Hey Hey Friends! I’m back!! We had a wonderful week off last week, and now I’m back at it! 

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. 

Last week, we headed to visit family in Florida and enjoy some beach time. It was a great relaxing trip. I’ll share about the trip on a later post. 

We got home late Friday night. This weekend is always the annual Riverfest in our town which benefits the children in our county. It’s always a huge hit and so much fun! 

We met Cindy & Adalynn right when they opened at 10. There was definitely the feel of Fall in the air. 

The girls wanted a picture at every photo op and cut-out. Ha! 

Sweet cousins. I just love them. 

We walked around all the booths first. That was our deal- shop then play. 

Addison was all about the Shark combo slide. 

Then, they were off to visit the petting zoo. Those animals really are the sweetest and tamest animals. 

More tickets were used for the train and some carnival games. 

We have come every year for years and years and love doing this tradition with our girls. 

We left the festival and Addison and I headed to the grocery stores. That’s plural because we had so much to get. We had lunch on the grounds at church yesterday, so after we got home, we started preparing. Apple Cake was on the menu. The best this time of year! 

I did loads and loads of laundry, unpacking, and lots of cooking. I was exhausted. 

Joey ran and got some dinner. We ate outside on the patio, at our new table. It was so nice! 

After dinner, Joey built a fire. Our first official fire in the outdoor fire place. It was so nice too. 

Sunday, we were up early and finishing preparing our lunch items. I was able to snap a pic of me and Addi. 

After lunch, I had lots of dishes to wash, food to put away and more laundry. I finally got all that done and headed outside to work on some blogging and school prep. 

Yesterday evening, we were busy getting clothes out, lunches packed and baths taken.
