**Hello Monday** {10.2.2023}
Friday night, we met Joey’s Mom, Cindy and Adalynn for dinner at Longhorns. Of course, I forgot to take any pictures. Joey had to work late, so we were bummed.
Saturday, I was supposed to go meet up with some girlfriends. We had to cancel because one of them had the stomach bug. 🙁 We were really, really sad but understanding.
So, we made the most of the beautiful day and worked inside and outside around the house. Joey put fresh sand in Addison’s playset, and she was happy and content.
We ran to drop off some of Addison’s clothes with Mrs. Judy to get altered. She’s so tall, but everything is huge in the waist if we buy things long enough. So, Mrs. Judy to the rescue.
We also stopped by Mom & Dads to tell them bye. They left early yesterday morning for a month long trip out west. We are going to miss them terribly but know they’re going to have a great time.
After getting cleaned up, we headed to La Parilla for dinner. They had some cute, Fall decorations up.
This right here is so me. If you know me, you know I don’t like Pumpkin Spice.
After dinner, we headed to a few shops. We stopped by Dick’s Sporting goods and ordered Addison some new Basketball shoes. I eyed this cute new Stanley Quencher! I love the color! Have ya’ll see this new color?
When we got home, we enjoyed some time on the patio until it got late. We started Hocus Pocus but didn’t finish it. It got too late.
Yesterday morning, Addison and I headed to Old Navy to exchange some things. They had some really cute girl clothes.
Rockstar Jeggings / Mock Neck Tunic Pullover / Oversized Utility Shacket (we got in Olive) / Oversized Herringbone Shacket
On the way to Costco, I grabbed her an Owl Cake Pop. She was thrilled. lol
When we got home, we worked on a few things around the house. Then, Addison and I played some b-ball.
I cooked Grilled Chicken, and we had Chicken Alfredo and grilled broccoli. We had an early dinner because Joey is headed off on a work trip.
Addison and I got our baths/showers. I made lunches, and we worked on putting some Legos together.
That’s all for our weekend. We hope ya’ll had some beautiful Fall-like weather. See you on Wednesday. 🙂
