**Hello Monday** {11.6.2023}

Hello Monday!! How are ya’ll doing?

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. 

Friday night, Addison and Adalynn spent the night with Joey’s Mom. Joey and I had a chill night. We watched an episode of Virgin River, I read some, and we were asleep early. It was wonderful! 

Saturday morning, we were up semi early. Joey and my Dad went to a turkey shoot. Dad won a gift card, and Joey won a turkey. I wish he would have won the gift card. Haha! 😉

I cleaned some of the house and tidied up a bit before heading over to Moms to help her ice Addison’s cookie cake. She bought it with the icing on the side. I told her never again. Haha! We laughed a bunch while decorating the cake. We are not artists. 

I left their house and met up with some teacher friends. We headed up to Dahlonega to one of my favorite wineries for lunch and some girl time. It was a gorgeous day! 

The food and drinks were delicious, as always. We shared the grit cake as an appetizer. Most everyone ordered the club sandwich with beer cheese. I also ordered a White Pie for everyone to share. Everything was amazing! 

I snapped a few pictures of the gorgeous view. 

Ethan, our wonderful waiter snapped some pictures of us. 

Then, we went downstairs to snap a picture outside on the patio. 

On the walk back to the car, Sharon and I were acting a little silly. lol We have fun! 

Everything was beautiful! 

I got back home just in the nick of time to head to Addison’s first basketball practice. She’s improved so much since last year. 

I was still full from our big lunch. But I rode with Joey and Addison to grab some food. On the way home, we went up the mountain to see the sunset. All the colors were so pretty. 

Joey got called into his work for a few hours during the night on Saturday.

Sunday morning, we slept in a little bit, with the time change. Then we were up and getting ready for church. 

We got home, ate a quick snack and headed to Target. All their Christmas decor makes me happy. We left there and ran to Costco to grab a few things. 

We got home, unloaded everything, started making lunches and putting sheets back on the beds. Mom & Dad aren’t going to be in town for Addison’s birthday, so they took her out for her birthday dinner last night. 

They came back by the house and brought gifts and the cookie cake. 

They picked up Addison some Minnetonka Moccasins while they were out west. So cool. 

Addison loves a good robe. Her last one was really too small, so she was super excited to get a new one. 

Some pajamas are always needed. She loves some Legos, and this Moana ship set will be perfect! 

And, they got her a new Under Armour leggings set. She is one spoiled girl. 

After they left, we got ready for bed, and I started working on this blog post. That wraps up our weekend! I hope you have a wonderful start to your week! See ya back here on Wednesday for a little, fun link-up. 🙂
