**Hello Monday** {11.13.2023}
Friday, we had a wonderful Veteran’s day ceremony and breakfast. Everything went so well, and it was very touching. It’s one of my favorite events of the entire year.
Friday afternoon, Addison had a follow up ENT appointment. We were able to stop for some lunch and a treat.
One of her tubes had made its way out and was just hanging out. The other one is making its way out. So good report!
After we left the doctor, we headed to pick up her birthday cake. It was so cute!
Saturday morning, we woke up to chilly and drizzly weather.
Addison’s party was at 11, so we got ready and snapped a few pictures before we left.
We arrived, and she was so excited!! It was very cute! She decided on a Puppy Adoption party.
They started by designing a carrier.
All the decorations were adorable.
Such sweet friends. They all loved the puppies.
Then, they were able to make them a collar.
And then the final adoption.
Finally, it was ready for cake. I let Joey cut the cake. I didn’t trust myself.
Throughout the party, they played games and there was lots of singing and laughing. Addison is one lucky girl!
She waited to open presents when we got back home. She got some awesome things! If you have a girl in your life, these would be great Christmas gift ideas!

Addison played a while. Then we got ready and headed to Lowe’s. We were looking for a Patio Heater, and we got one.
Then, we headed to dinner to eat at one of our favorite places. 😉
We went to Kohl’s after dinner and grabbed some things. Addison wanted a picture with the big dinosaur.
When we got home, she continued to play with her new things.
Addison and I slept in a bit. Joey got up and ran with Collin before daylight.
Then, Addison and I started putting up the tree. It makes me so happy!
Here is our exact tree! And, I still love it!
We got dressed and headed into town to our downtown Christmas Open House. We made a stop by Starbucks.
Then we headed to the Mill. It was fun, and we loved all the decorations!
After leaving town, we headed to Aunt Dot’s and Uncle’s house to visit. My Papa was there. Addison loved Aunt Dot’s Christmas Village.
We had a nice visit. They are heading out on Tuesday for some medical treatment. So, we were coming to send prayers and give lots of hugs to hopefully help with some positivity and love.
Last night, I cooked, and we ate outside on the patio with our new heater and a fire. It was a lovely evening. I hope you all have a great start to your week!

I love that cake and her party sounds like it was so cute. I wish more schools had school on Veterans day and taught more about the meaning of the holiday.
