**Hello Monday** {4.22.2024}
Friday, I dropped Addison off for a sleepover at Adalynn’s, and I headed to the grocery store.
Once I got home, I didn’t move from this position.
Meanwhile, Addison was having the best time celebrating Adalynn on her birthday.
We had to pickup Addison early Saturday morning, and we were off to soccer.
Despite getting not a lot of sleep the night before, Addison played hard and won the medal for the week!
We left the soccer field and headed to celebrate Adalynn with a family birthday gathering.
Happy Birthday sweet girl! I can’t believe you are 8!
We got home, and I did some cleaning and pulled up some weeds in the flower bed. My parents got home from Florida, so me and Addison went to see them real quick. Mom left Sunday morning to head to Gulf Shores with my Aunt for the week. She’s enjoying her retirement.
I snapped these pics of the rhododendron. They’re always so pretty!
We got back home, and enjoyed some time on the patio. It was a nice night for a fire. We started the Jungle Cruise, on Disney +, but we didn’t watch long. None of us cared for all the snakes. We didn’t want to be having any nightmares.
Sunday, we woke up to cooler temps and drizzly rain. We took it easy and eventually headed to Costco.
I cooked dinner last night, and Dad came over to eat with us.
He played Uno with Addison, and it was the sweetest thing.
Our school starts End of Grade state testing today, for the next 3 weeks. This is how I feel right now after all the preparation, and I don’t know how I’ll feel after we are done. Being our school’s test coordinator is a lot… so hoping for smooth sailing these next few weeks.
I am still hoping to blog 3 days a week, but I’m just going to have to see how it all goes. I do plan to be here Wednesday for a link-up. Hope you have a great start to your week!
