**What’s up Wednesday** {6.26.2024}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month. I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post. 

Settle in ya’ll because this one is a long one. 🙂

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

Sunday night we came in from vacation, so it was just a hodge podge of whatever we had. 

Sunday: Leftover chicken wings, chips 

Monday: Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas 

Tuesday: Cubed Steak, Rice, Zucchini/Squash (From our garden) 

Wednesday: BBQ Pork Skewars, Baked potatoes

Thursday: Grilling out with friends

Friday: Out to eat!!

Saturday: Birthday Party at our house! 

**Side Note** I’ve also been eating a lot of this pasta salad for lunch 

2. What I’m Reminiscing About: 

All the beach and summer memories are giving me all the feels. 

These were from 2019.

And here is 2020.

And in 2022… such sweet memories. 

Here are a few from last year. Summer, I just adore you! 

3. What I’m Loving:

SUMMER!!!…. Sleeping in and having time to read and spending time with friends and family! 

 

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

We started off the month celebrating my Papa’s 94th birthday! 

We also had Addison’s end of year dance Recital. Loved it! 

We have been enjoying lots of pool time. 

I have loved having lots of girl time with my best girl! 

And, we had a great week at the beach. I will share more on our vacation in a later post. 🙂

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m not really dreading anything right now. 😉  Just slow down summer! 

 

6. What I’m Working On: 

I’m working on reading through my summer book list!

 

7. What I’m Excited About: 

I am really excited about all the fun things we have planned next month!

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

This book was so good!!! I give it 5 stars! It had the perfect amount of mystery, suspense and romance! I was really trying to solve the mystery of what was happening… a couple of times I figured it out, and a couple of times I was stumped. I know sometimes Mary Kay Andrews books seem so long, but I felt like this one went quickly! Super happy with it! Would definitely recommend you read it!

Then I moved on to Abby Jimenez’s Just for the Summer, and it was adorable too! I loved the cute story line and her relationship with her best friend. It was just very cute and an easy fun summer read!

9. What I’m Listening To: 

Nothing at the moment.

10. What I’m Wearing: 

I have been wearing my new cover up from Amazon lately, while on vacation. It is super comfy and easy just to throw on. I got a lot of compliments too!

This White tank has been great to throw on. For just running errands or wearing to dinner, it’s been the best! So soft!

I ordered this Linen Drawstring Button Down Cap Sleeve set from Jules & James boutique, and I love it! It’s adorable and fits so well! I ordered it in Black, but it looks like the sizes are random. It also comes in a Blue and Clay color.

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend: 

We have a birthday party this weekend, and I have a baby shower. 

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

Celebrating the 4th of July, maybe another little trip and spending more time with family and friends really trying to soak up my summer time! 

13. Favorite Amazon Find:

This Striped Beach Towel from Amazon has been the best purchase! I ordered it last year, and it’s still going strong! It still looks like new!  I love the color, and it’s super soft! It is extra large too, which is great for covering lounging chairs! Right now it’s on sale too! It comes in lots of color options, but I snagged it in pink!
