**Hello Monday** {7.8.2024}

Hello Monday! It’s July and wow the weeks are flying by now! We only have 2 full weeks left of Summer break, and I’ll be back at school.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend and last week. 😉

Well, I totally underestimated how busy I would be last Thursday and didn’t get my Friday Favorites post. So, today I’m sharing all about our week last week and our uneventful weekend. 🙂

Monday, we met Joey for lunch which is always a favorite. We don’t get to do it often, especially when school starts back.

Tuesday morning, we ran some errands. I grabbed CFA on the way home and made a salad. It was perfect.

It was a hot one! I turned on the sprinkler and Addison had lots of fun for not as long as I thought she should. Haha!

Milo even joined in on the fun.

Wednesday, we were meeting up with Caroline and Britney for lunch. On the way down, Addison and I stopped by JCrew Factory and found some things. I’ve been eyeing these Gauze Button-ups. I grabbed one in black, but it was really difficult to just grab one. There are some cute colors.

Brit brought Brynlee and Addison was excited to spend some time with her friend.

Caroline ordered Guacamole and she said she felt like she was at Disney world when he came out with his display. Haha!

Addison was our photographer. She had us cracking up.

Always love seeing my girls. I miss them and wish we lived closer!

Joey had to work late, so Addison and I enjoyed a night walk with Milo.

Thursday, Joey was off being the 4th, so he was happy to sleep in a little bit.

We were up early enough to head to the parade. It’s tradition and always a favorite. But, boy oh boy was it hot! The heat index was in triple digits. I was pouring sweat glistening. 😉

That afternoon, we just hung around the house. Dad & Mom came over that evening for dinner. I ordered pizza. They brought patriotic cookies and watermelon.

Addison entertained us with some sparklers. Hahaha!

Dad & Mom didn’t want to go with us to see fireworks. So, we met up with Cindy & Adalynn.

Shannon and her kiddos also came and met up. It was a fun-filled event.

Love these sweet selfies.

It started raining which I wasn’t too mad about since we were all melting from the heat.

It stopped just in time for the fireworks. We had a great view.

Friday, Joey worked until about 2.

I snapped this picture of my girl reading. Makes my Mama teacher heart so happy.

I have had some requests for my Homemade Ice Cream recipe. I make different recipes, but the one I make most often is just vanilla. It’s easy.

1 can Condensed Milk

1 can Evaporated Milk

1 + 3/4 cup sugar

1 Tablespoon Vanilla flavoring

Whole Milk- fill to the Fill Line on the canister (usually not over 1/2 gallon)

Stir and place in the maker.

You will then need Ice and Rock Salt to pour around it for freezing. It will take a while to freeze.

Enjoy with your favorite toppings.

Friday night we had tickets for the Braves Game.

Another afternoon rain shower came by and cooled everything down.

We put our name in at Fox Bros. BBQ and walked around the Battery while we waited to be seated.

I ordered the Brisket sandwich with Mac n’ Cheese. The sandwich was huge!

After eating, it was time to mosey to our seats.

Every inning Addison kept asking for snacks. We had to limit her on snacks. lol

The food was her entertainment.

I think we all had a lot of fun despite the loss.

Saturday, Joey had to go work at my Aunt & Uncle’s house. They are building a separate building, and he’s putting in all the HVAC equipment.

I snapped this picture of Parker. I said look you’re like elf on a shelf. 😉

Sunday morning, we went to church. Afterward, we drove around a bit and ended up at the Panorama apple house. We grabbed some ice cream for our lunch.

We got back home, I started working on this blog post and doing laundry. Joey took a nap. Addison “cleaned” in her play room.

Last night, we went to eat with Mom & Dad. She requested that Joey cook hibachi. He’s the master at it. Of course he didn’t mind. It was really good.

You’ve probably heard, but in case you haven’t, this week is Target Circle Week. It’s their biggest sale of the season, and there are lots of good finds.

This ended up being a long post. My plan is to be back Wednesday for a link-up. I hope you guys have a wonderful start to your week! Thanks for stopping by!
