**Hello Monday** {7.29.2024}
Friday, we had Meet n’ Greet at school. I had to take a pic of Bree and document that she was there at 6:30. Haha!
Joey brought Addison. Her and Adalynn were able to walk around together. I can’t believe she’s going to 2nd grade.
Friday night, we had a pretty chill night because we knew we were having a busy weekend.
Saturday morning, we got up and packed up some things to head south. We were going to visit with Caroline, Britney and all our girls at Caroline’s house.
We stopped by Costco to grab a few things. Addison requested a pic with these ghouls. They’re so tall and lifelike.
We arrived a little after lunch and the girls were ready to party. 😉
The rain held off, so we all got loaded up and headed to the pool. It was so fun catching up while the girls swam.
Look at these sunning beauties. We have been close friends since college, which I can’t believe is now over 20 years. I seriously feel like college was just a few years ago. How can we be this old?
Once we got back to the house, the girls played outside for a bit. Here’s Addison on the zip line. This was immediately before she got to the end, lost her balance off the seat and fell right back into wet mud. Claire comes in and says “Uh, Ms. Alison, Addison needs you”. Oh my goodness!!
It’s a sign of having fun.
Caroline made a delicious spread for us all. We were calling her Susie Homemaker.
Wonderful salad, homemade individual pizzas with Homemade pound cake.
After dinner, we loaded up and headed to get a sweet treat. The girls voting Snow cones over Ice Cream.
They played for a while then we started settling down for bedtime. They attempted to all sleep in the playroom. However, they couldn’t quieten down enough to fall asleep. Ended up, only 4 slept in the same room.
They were exhausted and slept in. Fun times with the D. girls.
I am so happy when we get together. We just pick right back up, and I love that our girls get along so well.
I ordered Addison a new water bottle for the year. I had been hearing great things about the Owala, so I ended up ordering her one. I got hers from Target, only because I like the colors better, but I will also link the ones on Amazon.
That’s it for our weekend. It was fun but definitely flew by.
We have 3 days of pre planning this week. The students’ first day is Thursday! Year 17 here we go!
Have a great week, friends!

How fun! I love the next generation friends! I had lunch with college friends on Friday and they’re the best. It’s like no time at all has passed since our last visit. Happy back to school to you!
