**Friday Favorites** {8.2.2024}

Whew! What a whirlwind of a week. The beginning of the school year is always so exhausting even though today is just the second day with students.  

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Monday, I had this delicious pizza leftover for lunch. It was a favorite! 

Addison’s sweet teacher from last year sent her a good luck card. She was so excited!  

Monday night, we went out to eat with Joey’s Dad and Christy. They took me out for my birthday. 🙂

Tuesday, I was laughing at Bree and Cathy putting up our lights. I told Bree to not sit down because she had a stapler in her pocket. I love all my teacher friends! 

We had a delicious lunch provided by one of my very kind friends, Erin. It was so nice! 

Tuesday after school I headed to get my hair done! Yay for hair day! 

Wednesday, our wonderful PTA catered our lunch. We have the best PTA team! It was so appreciated! 

We were definitely spoiled this week! 

Meanwhile, Addison was living her best life with my Mom & Dad. 

Her & Mom had a tent sleepover in the basement. She tried on many of my old dance costumes, and they played about a hundred games. I’m sure they were exhausted from this wild tornado. 

 

Wednesday night, I did my annual Back 2 School Brinner. It’s super easy and always well received. 🙂

We read a story, and I tucked a sweet 2nd grader in for the new school year. 

Mom & I made these little treat baskets for Addison’s teachers. 

And here we are with the first day pictures!

Joey walked the girls in and snapped these two pictures for me while I was on duty. 🙂
