**Back 2 School Brinner** {8.7.2024}
Last week, on August 1st, was our first day of the new school year. So, the night before I made my annual back to school brinner. It’s always so fun and a great tradition. I’m usually extra busy myself, being a teacher, so I just try to add a few decorations. But you can definitely add more and really make it fun! I served mostly normal breakfast items. I had the typical bacon and eggs. I made up some of my Sausage Muffins. I also had waffles and fruit. Sometimes I’ll do grits and have donuts, but this year I kept it simple. **Hello Monday** {8.5.2024}
Happy Monday friends! How was your weekend? Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. Friday, we celebrated Bree turning the big 30!!! She is definitely thirty, flirty, and thriving. 😉 We left right when school was out and headed up to Blue Ridge for a short camping trip. This was a rescheduled trip from May. It’s about an hour and 3o minutes from our house, so not a bad drive. Addison jumped out and headed to the creek right away. **Friday Favorites** {8.2.2024}
Whew! What a whirlwind of a week. The beginning of the school year is always so exhausting even though today is just the second day with students. Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. Monday, I had this delicious pizza leftover for lunch.
