• **Hello Monday** {9.30.2024}

    Happy Monday friends!! After 4 days off of school due to Hurricane Helene, we are back to it today. The devastation has been horrible. We are very, very lucky to not have had any damage. I’m praying for so many that were affected.  Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. Thursday night, we all snuggled in to watch the new Inside Out 2 movie. It was cute.  Friday, I worked on some school work and typing up meeting notes. I also went ahead and got all the house work and laundry completed. However, now, I am thinking all the things I…

    Hey Friends!! Well this week has been wild. We went back to school Monday through Wednesday. Then, yesterday and today, school was cancelled due to the incoming Hurricane Helene. So crazy!  Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. Even though we had 3 days at school, those days were super busy! I had meetings almost all three days with teachers, on top of other managerial type things. Plus trying to navigate life and home. I had a hair appointment. I don’t have too many things to share.  Wednesday, we had storms come through that were not part of the hurricane. It…

    Well Hello, friends!! I’m back after a week off. We had a great Fall break! Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. I don’t have a lot to share today for our weekend. We got home about 3 on Friday.  Saturday, started out okay. I was cleaning up a storm and doing lots of laundry. However, as the day went on, I started feeling bad. By Saturday afternoon, I was out- no energy, chilling, running a low grade fever. No fun at all!  Addison and Joey were great nurses to me. She also put this Lego Simba together. It turned…

    Happy Friday!!! Woohoo! We are so excited that it’s here!  Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. We started off Monday afternoon having some girl pampering time. I love doing this together!  The girls had donuts with grownups this week to celebrate Grandparent’s day. We are so lucky to have so many awesome grandparents’ in their lives! They are all so special, and we are thankful.  I had a little spa pampering on Wednesday after school. Always needed and a favorite.  Milo has been cracking us up playing with this ball. I call him our circus dog because he loves to…

    Happy Happy Wednesday friends!! How’s your week going?  Alright, so let’s get to it! On the second Wednesday of every month, I link up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything. Today, we are talking about our quick weeknight dinners.  Right now, especially this time of year, the slow cooker is a go-to!  Everyone loves an easy, delicious Chili, and this one is both!!  ************************************** I also love this Creamy Chicken Tortilla soup. Both delicious and easy as well!  Here’s another tried and true meal that works beautifully in the slow cooker. Slow Cooker Jambalaya  I shared this Potato Soup recipe way back in 2021. It’s a bonus post, so you actually get…

  • **Hello Monday** {9.9.2024}

    Happy Monday friends!! We have 5 school days, and then we have our Fall break! I can’t believe it’s finally here, but I’m definitely ready for it.  Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. We had a fairly busy weekend, and the weather was gorgeous! Starting to feel like fall in Georgia.  Friday night, we went out to eat to celebrate Christy’s birthday! We had many laughs and Addison enjoyed extra time with Grampa.    Saturday morning, Joey left early to go kayaking with his Dad and brother, Nathan. I was trying to clean and get some things ready for Disney.…

    Happy First Friday in September!! We have had slightly cooler temperatures this week, and it’s making me extra excited for Fall!  Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. Tuesday, after dance, Addison decided to get on the trampoline with Milo. He was having a grand ole’ time. Haha!  I also keep having to watch Milo extra closely. He keeps getting into my Fall decor. It’s not making me happy! He is not appreciating it like I do.  We had to make a Wal-mart run to grab a few things one afternoon.  Dad & Mom came over Wednesday night to hang and…

  • **Hello Monday on a Wednesday** {9.4.2024}

    Hey Friends! Since Monday was Labor day, I am stepping back, punting and sharing our weekend recap today. 🙂 Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. Friday, my sweet girl got a Braggin’ on Braves for being Respectful to her Teachers and Valuing her learning. We are proud of her!  Friday, after school, I had planned to get some errands completed. However, the weather wasn’t having it. It began pouring while we were sitting at the bank, so our plans changed, and we headed home.  Saturday morning, I was up bright and early because why should my body think it needs…
