**Let’s Look At….How We Prep for the Holiday Season** {10.9.2024}

Happy Happy Wednesday friends!! How’s your week going?

Alright, so let’s get to it! On the second Wednesday of every month, I link up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything. Today, we are talking about how we prep for the Holiday season.

When prepping for the upcoming Holidays, I do a number of things. First, I will go down to all my decorations and pull out the specific tubs/items for that holiday.

Addison and I will make a Bucket List to try to scope out a plan for the upcoming season. We want to make sure we get it all in.

Once we make a list, we will fill in our calendar.

Here are some example Fall lists from year’s past.

We have fun decorating for the holidays!! Here are some of our Fall decorations. My favorite is decorating for Christmas!

Usually about a few weeks before holiday events, the group texts from my family will start. They stress me out a bit because they just start rolling in, and I’m quick on the trigger to type in something that I want to bring and hope nobody else mentions it first. Haha! Anyone else just like making certain things.

I mean, please don’t ask me to make the ham.

For the most part, that’s it! Am I missing anything?

I am excited to read your posts!! I love the season that is approaching. It makes me so happy!

    Loved seeing how you prep for the holidays, Alison! I have some shelving out in our garage where I store my Christmas stuff, it’s so hard to believe it won’t be that much longer before I start getting it out. 🙂 I love how you create bucket lists for fun things to do!! I also can absolutely relate on the group texts, my in laws always have dinners throughout the holidays a bunch and I try to make my tried-and-true recipes that are easy to whip up, haha!

    Wishing you a fantastic rest of your week!!
