**Hello Monday** {10.14.2024}

Hello Monday!! Here we are again. How was your weekend?

Like the usual, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday night, we had date night plans with our friends. We “tricked” the guys into wearing black polos, so they would match. It was hilarious. We were dying laughing. We took many pictures of the triplets throughout the night. 😉

First up was dinner.

Along with the ladies some pretty, fun drinks.

Meanwhile, Addison was having a blast with Nonna & Papaw. They went to eat Mexican food. She insisted on getting many pictures with the decorations. lol

We were cracking up because Joey had earplugs for the concert.

We had to make a pitstop for the guys to get coffee and donuts.

We were seeing Corey Smith! This concert took me way back 20+ years ago to my college days when I saw him in small venues and local bars.

Happy for date night.

The opening act was a little slow….. So we took the opportunity to snap another pic.

And then Corey came on.

We didn’t know a lot of his newest songs, but whenever an old one came on we were sure to belt the lyrics out.

We asked a lady to take our picture. It was quite funny… I’m not sure what happened with the second pic.

And one last picture on our way out.

We didn’t get home until after midnight. Us oldies aren’t used to these late night hours. But we had so many laughs and a lot of fun!

Saturday morning, we were still up around 7:30.

I started my normal laundry and cleaning routine. We let Addison play at Mom & Dads for a while before we picked her up.

Once we were home, we made some blueberry muffins.

We had a pretty easy afternoon. We went for ‘Your Pie’ for dinner.

Joey probably isn’t going to be home for Halloween, so he wanted to go ahead and carve a pumpkin. It probably won’t last until Halloween, but it was still fun.

Then we enjoyed relaxing outside by the fire. I read some, and we watched the newest version of “Lady & the Tramp”.

Sunday morning was another easy morning. Addison and I ran to the grocery store first thing.

In the afternoon, she had a birthday party which was so much fun!

They even played Tug of War which is always fun. We were a little worried there would be injuries, but thankfully everyone came out unharmed. Haha!

I even got to hang out with one of my besties/cousins again.

Last night we went to Mom & Dads for dinner. Milo was enjoying himself. Haha!

And that’s it for our weekend! Happy Monday friends! Have a great week!

Corey Smith-how fun! I love his old song Carolina! I’ve never tried it but have read if you rub vaseline or coconut oil around the carved edges of a pumpkin it will last longer. Don’t know if its true, but the internet says it is so it must be : ) Glad you had a fun weekend!
