**What’s up Wednesday** {11.27.2024}
It’s the last Wednesday of the month. I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
Wow! I can’t believe this is almost the last WUW for 2024!
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
Sunday: We had Thanksgiving at Joey’s granny’s house, so all the traditional Thanksgiving food.
Monday: Chili
Tuesday: Grilled Chicken with Baked Potatoes
Wednesday: Leftover Chili
Thursday: Thanksgiving food all day! We have 2 places to be.
Friday: I’m not sure yet.
Saturday: Kitchen’s closed!
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
I’m reminiscing about 8 years ago when Addison was born.
It was a scary day that turned into a wonderful day.
Then when we got home, we loved all the visitors and the big bows. 😉
And then her first Thanksgiving. She was so little. Her dress swallowed her whole.
3. What I’m Loving:
I am loving this time of year. I haven’t finished all the decorating, but I’ve put a huge dent in it. I still need to decorate the tree.
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We started off the month celebrating Milo’s 1st Birthday!! Giggles even got in on the fun! Haha!
Addison had a digital learning day, on Veteran’s day, so the girls had a sleepover that night. Mom came over, and they had such a fun time!
We loved celebrating Dad and all the Veterans on Veteran’s Day!
We loved having Thanksgiving lunch with our little turkey.
And… we celebrated Addison turning 8!
She’s been playing with lots of birthday gifts.
And this… Addison in November. Joey in January.
This week, we loved seeing Caroline and all the sweet girls.
5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m not dreading anything right now.
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on making Christmas lists and checking things off the list.
Tomorrow, I’ll be prepping for Thanksgiving!
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am really excited about all the fun things we have planned the next few weeks. Love this time of year! So magical.
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
I am thoroughly enjoying all the Christmas Hallmark movies!
I know it’s odd, but I haven’t finished a book this month. It’s just been so crazy busy. Hoping to get started on a few Christmas books in the next few days.
Send any must reads my way!
9. What I’m Listening To:
Christmas music, of course!
10. What I’m Wearing:
I ran by JCrew Factory this week, and they have some really cute things right now! I also grabbed Addison entirely too much. When the sales are that good, you just have to give in.
I was really in search for something to wear for Santa pictures. I grabbed a few Emerald green choices to try on. They’re all so pretty!
I happened to have my Dolce Vita Sneakers on, and they are really just the best!
This Tartan Ruffle Collar Pullover is probably going to be the winner with some black pants. I love the little pop of red around the collar and sleeves which will go great with Addison’s red dress.
I’m not a big fan of a v-neck, but if you are, this Chiffon Dotted Top is beautiful! It also comes in black and pink.
Of course, I’ve also been supporting my favorite small business, Jules & James Boutique.
This Cuffed Two Toned Neutral Knit Sweater has been so great to wear right now! I get so many compliments!
I also ordered this Pastel Color Sequin Nutcracker Cream Sweater and Oversized Exposed Seam Drop Shoulder Sweater to wear during the Holidays
Here are my Dolce Vita Sneakers at J&J.
Happy Shopping!
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
We are hoping to go ahead and kick off the holiday season with doing something festive!
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
Addison has her Christmas Dance recital, which is always a favorite!
Plus…. Christmas!!!
13. Favorite Amazon Find:
These Frownies Facial Patches have been a fun, surprising favorite! Have you tried them? It’s not very fun getting old. Haha!
14. What Else Is New:
Nothing else…
Thank you all for reading. We are off to watch Moana 2 today!! Eek! So excited!
Have a great Wednesday and Happy Thanksgiving! I’m very thankful for all of you!

I love the tartan collar pullover! So cute! How precious those newborn pictures are. Time flies for sure. We will decorate for Christmas this weekend and I finally feel ready. I’ve done a few small bits and pieces but it still looks a lot like fall in my house. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your familly!
