**Hello Monday** {12.2.2024}
Wow! We had such a wonderful, restful Thanksgiving break! We had lots of slow mornings, lots of movie watching, lots of creating and decorating! I am sad to be heading back to work but excited about the upcoming weeks.
Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our week off.
I enjoyed many nights and mornings like this.
We met up with friends on Tuesday and loved seeing everyone! We enjoyed a favorite lunch spot- The Fickle Pickle!
We headed to look at some furniture stores. The girls were not enthused. Caroline & I decided we needed to go back sans kids. Haha!
While I was out and about, I stopped by JCrew Factory to see if I could find a sweater/top for our upcoming Santa pictures.
Cotton Ruffle neck Sweater / Tartan Ruffle Collar Pullover / Chiffon Dotted Top
Milo has done a lot of scoping out the woods and neighbors.
On Wednesday, we went with Adalynn and other friends to see the much anticipated Moana 2!!
It was amazing!! We all loved it! Did any of you see it?
Wednesday night, we had our Santa pictures, with Santa Pop, who we have been going to since Addison was 2.
Thursday morning, I made these sausage squares. I forgot to snap a picture of the top on and after they were cooked. We were all too excited to eat! They’re a delicious and easy treat!
We had 2 Thanksgiving gatherings on Thursday.
I snapped a few pictures of Addison & Milo in front of the tree before we left.
And we are off!
We started at Joey’s Mom’s house. So good to see some of his Uncles and everyone else.
These 2 are two peas in a pod.
Later that evening, we had Thanksgiving at my Aunt Dot’s house. My sweet Papa was there.
We were sad not everyone could join us, like my Mom & Dad. But we had a great time! So many laughs!
Silly girl.
Here we are dying laughing and so full! Haha!
Friday morning, I was up about 3:30 to go shopping with Penny & Cindy on Black Friday! It’s definitely a fun tradition! I didn’t feel like the deals were that grand.
I didn’t even snap any pictures. But I did get one pulling in our driveway with Joey putting out all our outside decorations and Milo peeping in the window. 🙂
Saturday, we decided to have a family day. We started by heading north. We stopped by the outlet mall, in Dawsonville, to return some things.
We left there and kept driving north to Helen, GA. It’s the cutest, little German town.
Look at all the cuteness and the buildings!
It was very busy!
They had a lot of outdoor booths set up too. Even though it was quite chilly, the sky and sun was beautiful! It was a perfect day for some hot cocoa.
After walking around a bit, we left Helen and headed back to Dahlonega, my college town.
Both these towns are so festive and definitely scream Hallmark vibes.
We ate at Shenanigan’s pub. Delicious!
And one quick pic before heading back toward home.
We snuggled up with Home Alone 2 Saturday night.
Yesterday morning, Elfie had arrived! Addison was sooo excited! It was so sweet!
Last night we finally got together for our Friends-giving. We only had one slight injury. Nolan busted his lip on a swing. We considered this a small win. Haha!

Your tree is gorgeous!! I have not been to Helen at Christmastime…is it mobbed? It’s a fun place to walk around. I live just over an hour from there so if we can squeeze in a visit this month we might do that. I also love Dahlonaga and hubs and I spent a night there one December a few years ago which was fun. Glad you had a nice holday!
