**Hello Monday** {12.16.2024}

Happy Monday friends!! I can’t believe it’s like mid- December, and Christmas is so close. I’m so excited but also a little sad. I want this magical time to slow down.

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. It was a busy one.

Bree got these from her neighbor and brought them to share. It was sweet and hilarious. “Ho Ho Ho from your ‘Ding Dong’ neighbor”

Addison had a field trip to see the Nutcracker on Friday. I wasn’t able to go, but some of my sweet teacher friends snapped some pics for me.

Look at these two cuties. Ready for the show.

Her teacher texted these pics to me when they got back. She was dancing all around the classroom. Crazy girl.

Friday morning, Addison and I ran to the grocery store. Then we grabbed Your Pie pizza for dinner. No time for cooking. Haha!

Saturday morning, we headed to Mom & Dads to help them with a new mantle. Joey cut this beautiful piece of wood and is creating them a new mantle. It’s going to look beautiful.

When we got back home, Addison and I started making some Christmas goodies.

We had tickets Saturday afternoon/evening to go to Stone Mountain Christmas. We got there around 4. It wasn’t too crowded at this time.

We rode the train around the mountain and the entire ride was Christmas sing alongs.

We enjoyed this stop, on the backside of the mountain, when they stopped to tell “The Gift”. It was the story of Jesus’ birth.

As we crossed the lawn, I snapped this picture of the carvings on the front of the mountain. Have you guys ever been to Stone Mountain? It’s this enormous mountain of rock.

You can typically ride the gondola to the top, but it was shut down this night because of high winds. So sad.

A few pics to document.

This girl was excited. She is hardly ever sad. She definitely loves life, and we love her vibrant personality.

I snapped this pic in Dinoland. She loved this huge ball pit area. My germaphobe self did not.

We rushed back to the main area because the parade was about to start.

All the lights were so pretty.

Another photo op.

Then we headed back over to the big lawn to get ready for the laser, light and drone show.

You can’t really see it well here, but the moon was huge and bright.

And then the show started. It was so good!

The wind was starting to blow. It was pretty chilly.

We also really loved the drones. They were so cool.

After that, we headed back home and jumped in the bed.

We had to be up and ready fairly early for Addison’s Christmas Recital. We had to leave the house by 10 to arrive by 11.

I do love a Christmas performance.

She was in “Silent Night” for ballet.

And in “Here Comes Santa Claus” for Jazz.

And now time for bows. We were so proud of our dancer.

So many people came to cheer her on.

We love all our fan club.

Here’s a link to my sweater.

Hamming it up.

We left there and headed to The Marietta Diner for a Linner. 😉

Dog balloon animals and milkshake for the dancer.

My sandwich was delish.

Once we got back home, we were running fast to get all our tasks done.

I worked on some Christmas goodies, filling out Christmas cards, bath time, laundry, lunches, clothes ready, and this blog post.

We are counting down until break… 5 more days. We can do it!

Have a great week, friends!
