**Hello Monday** {1.27.2025}

Hey Friends!! Happy Monday! This 5-day work week is going to be rough! With all the crazy weather this month, we really haven’t had a lot of school days. We have a full week. Let’s get to it!

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Saturday started off kindof chill. I did some reading and resting that morning. Then, Addison and I had to run some errands. We had to also make a Home Depot stop.

That evening, we dropped Addison off at Penny’s house. I was helping throw one of my bestie’s 40th Birthday!

It was in our downtown area at a newly renovated space. Loved the vibes!

Dustin made a sweet speech to the birthday girl! Shannon is one of my friends that I’ve know the longest. We met each other in 8th grade and haven’t looked back. We hung out all the time in high school. We went to the same University and even lived together, in the dorm, our sophomore year.

She lives about 5 miles from us, and our kids are in the same class. Love this girl!

Yay! Happy Birthday!

Joey helped me construct these large light-up numbers. 😉

And a pic with the birthday girl. It was hilarious looking at all the pictures hanging up. I had forgotten about some of the events. Probably wish they were not documented. Haha!

And, we snapped some pics with the college friends.

I got some with my cute date too. He was a great helper and helped me with serving and decorating!

We got all cleaned up, and I snapped some pics of our cute, little downtown area all lit up.

We headed to church yesterday morning, and I was able to snap a picture of Addison and Kason. This is one of her big buddies at church.

Afterward, I needed to grab a few things at the store. I asked Joey to head through BK and see if they still had cheesy tots. Bingo! They did! Made me so happy!

Yesterday afternoon, Joey and I tried to watch some Netflix of the comedian, Nate Bargatze. We started, and then we both dozed off for a little nap. We do both like Nate though. He’s clean, which we like, and has a great dry humor. Have you watched?

Last night, we had to drop my car off for some car work. We ended up getting dinner at Cracker Barrel, which was great because I didn’t have to cook! 😉

That’s it for our weekend! I’ll see ya on Wednesday for our monthly link-up.

xo!
