**New York City! Girls Trip! Part II**{2.5.2025}

Hey guys!! It’s Wednesday! Today is another long post. I’m sharing Part II of my girl’s trip to NYC! If you missed Part I, be sure to read it first here

We pick right up with Sunday morning. Thankfully, Brit was feeling much better and able to jump right back in with all our things. I took a quick pic of the beautiful public library. I was sad we didn’t get to go inside.

We had tickets for The Top of the Rock, but we were able to get a quick group pic with the gorgeous Rockefeller Christmas tree and angels.

We were a little worried about the visibility at the top of Rockefeller center. It was very cloudy.

I snapped a quick pic of all the buildings before watching a short historical film, and riding to the tip top in an elevator.

And, we walked out, and absolutely nothing. Zero visibility…. boooo!!! We tried not to get too disheartened.

We went to get a quick bite to eat and coffee, in their cafe, hoping for the clouds to part.

And eventually, they did! Hooray!!!

We snapped a few “funeral” pics. If you don’t know what that joke is, I shared the deets in the first post recap. 😉

The hair was definitely feeling the damp air.

We stayed around for a bit before heading back down. I loved the classic “beam” picture. And, we were able to snap a few pics of the ice skating rink at ground level.

I was able to capture a few more pictures of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. They were having service, so we couldn’t go in at this time.

We really wanted to get some coffee from the Ralph’s iconic truck. The line was long, but thankfully, it went pretty quickly. So cute! I took A LOT of pictures.

We were all excited and cheesing.

Then, we stopped by Trump Towers. We went inside to peruse around. It was beautiful inside!

Then we made our way over to Tiffany & Co. Gorgeous and so many sparkly things.

I can’t get over the Louis Vuitton store being wrapped like luggage. Really think it’s the coolest building I’ve ever seen.

We had afternoon tickets for a carriage ride through Central Park. Ibrahim was our tour guide, and we all enjoyed it so much. The movie trivia and other facts along the ride, were very enjoyable.

Even in winter, it was beautiful!

We stopped here for a walk down. This is a very famous area that is featured in a lot of movies. I can think of it in the movie “Enchanted”.

Ibrahim got our picture.

I snapped some more pictures along the West side of the park.

I’ve eaten at Tavern on the Green, but we did not go this trip.

We had an afternoon reservation for SaraBeth’s which was right by the park.

It was so quaint and delicious! I can’t say enough good things about this place. The perfect lunch spot.

We left lunch and grabbed an uber to West Village, which is where the Friend’s apartment building was located. Now, this is not actually the inside of the Friend’s apartment, it is just in the opening scene. The inside is shot in a studio, in Hollywood.

After taking some pics, we headed over to Taylor Swift’s former brownstone.

While we were walking around, we stopped by the Magnolia Bakery and picked up a sweet treat.

This is not to be confused with Chip & Joanna’s Magnolia bakery in Waco, TX. They are not the same.

We left there and headed to grab the Staten Island ferry. It just travels back and forth between Manhattan & New Jersey. We were able to get some great pictures of Lady Liberty at sunset.

After returning to Manhattan, we walked to the Brooklyn Bridge. We were surprised how long it was. We ended up just walking to the halfway point, snapping some pics, and turning around to get off.

After leaving the bridge, we were tired! Once we made our way back to the hotel, none of us were really hungry for dinner.

It was our last night, so we had to get all our luggage back in order. I had to practically sit on mine to get it to zip back up.

The next morning, we were all able to share an uber back to the airport. Our flights were just a couple hours apart.

We grabbed breakfast, while we waited. I was very excited to see Junior’s and grab a slice of cheesecake. Because why not. Haha!

Caroline and Brit did a massage chair session. I just hung out and read while I waited on them. Then Brit & I said goodbye to Caroline.

We landed back in the ATL about 3:15, and with fighting traffic, and dropping off Brit, I made it home around 6:30. I was glad to see Joey & Addison!

I would recommend all my friends take a girl’s trip at least once a year. It really does rejuvenate you. We laugh about the silliest things, and it’s just fun!

Have a great Wednesday!!
