**What’s up Wednesday** {2.26.2025}
Whoa! I can’t believe February is already almost over. It’s the last Wednesday of the month. So, I’m linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
Sunday: Out to Eat with Joey’s Granny
Monday: Hibachi meal with Chicken & Steak, Fried Rice & Veggies
Tuesday: Brunswick Stew & Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Wednesday: Savory Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans
Thursday: Leftover Meatball meal
Friday: Pizza Night
Saturday: Kitchen’s closed!
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
I’m getting really emotional looking at all these pics.
This is from 2017 the day before I was to head back to work.
Loving all these Valentine’s memories from 2020. Right before Covid started… My Great Uncle was 100 years old and the Valentine King that year. So sweet. I miss Uncle Bill.
We have enjoyed some snow days in February over the past few years.
And here is 2021 when the girls all dressed up with Anna and Elsa.
And more Valentine sweetness.
We also took these cuties on a little getaway that year.
And I miss all these basketball memories.
3. What I’m Loving:
I know I miss the baby and toddler stage… some, but I am loving the stage we are in now. Addison is so much more independent and coming into her own little personality. She does have the sweetest personality. She has the kindest heart.
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We have loved some warmer days and how we have been able to go outside and play some.
We have enjoyed lots of fun Valentine events and treats.
We enjoyed doing all the things last week during Winter break.
5. What I’m Dreading:
The only thing I’m dreading right now is Tax day. Ugh!
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on planning some fun things for the next few months and working on a honey do list for around the house. Haha!
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am excited about the weather getting warmer and soccer starting next month. Addison would say otherwise.
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
Earlier this month, I finished The Housemaid. I don’t know what I had been waiting on and why it had taken me so long to start this book. I think I got a little hesitant when I saw it was a trilogy. I didn’t really want to commit to that much time to one story line. But, after much persuading, I finally read it. I’m so glad I did! It was great! If you haven’t read it, I would definitely recommend!
I am currently reading First Lie Wins. This was listed as a Reese’s Book Club book. When I started it, it was a little hard for me to follow. I was confused about where it was going but finally it’s starting to make a little more sense after reading a few chapters. I just need to keep reading to try to figure out what is going to happen next.

Joey and I started the Hulu series, Scamanda. I tried to start the Podcast, but I just couldn’t get into it and follow along. We have only watched 2 episodes because it releases them one week at a time, so we have some catching up to do. But, if you haven’t watched, you need to. She’s cray.
Along with the crazy theme, I also watched the Gabby Petito series on Netflix. It was very sad! Have you watched it? I felt like his parents were involved or hid some things, and they should have also been charged. Overall it was good just sad to me…. She just seemed so full of life.
Here’s more trashy TV that I’ve been watching, but I just can’t stop. I have watched Southern Charm since the beginning, and I just can’t stop it now. I’m not a fan of all the characters now, but I still enjoy the OGs.
I watched La Dolce Villa last weekend, and it was highly predictable, but also so cute and charming. It was a feel good movie for sure!
9. What I’m Listening To:
Not a thing at the moment.
10. What I’m Wearing:
Jules & James has some super cute things right now! I’m loving their new dresses! I’ve got some ordered, but they haven’t come in yet. And, I’m loving this linen set.
Mostly I just wear Jules & James everyday. If you have seen me in a picture lately, there’s about a 95% chance it’s J&J. 😉
Shop Avara has some very cute things right now as well. They always sell top quality items that last.
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
Joey won box tickets to the Atlanta Hawks game Friday night! So, we have that going on.
Saturday, we need to start cleaning and working on camper prep. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and be a little warmer.
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
Excited about starting soccer games and again the warmer weather, hopefully!
