**February Break Recap** {3.5.2025}

Today I’m sharing all about our week off!

We started off Friday morning with some Valentine’s goodies.

I attempted to do Addison’s hair as a heart. It didn’t last all day.

One of our sweet coworkers is becoming a Grandpa, and we had a little sprinkle for him. He was so surprised and excited! It was so sweet.

Friday, after school, we made a quick trip to Pigeon Forge, TN. We had reservations at the Local Goat. Being it was Valentine’s day, it was crazy crowded, but we enjoyed our meal together. They even had some special menu items.

Saturday morning, we were up semi early and headed to breakfast. Addison was excited to have some bear-y pancakes.

The weather was pretty yucky…chilly and rainy. We were happy to park it inside for a few hours. Addison was beyond thrilled to spend hours playing in the pool and going down the slide.

I was happy to sit and read poolside. She did talk Joey into joining her for a little bit.

After many hours swimming and getting wrinkled skin and chlorine overload, we got ready and headed to dinner at Calhouns.

The rain had stopped, so we walked around some shops after our meal.

Then we headed to our show at ‘The Comedy Barn’. It’s a favorite for sure! So many laughs!

Sunday morning, when we got up, we packed and headed out to get some breakfast. It was super chilly and windy.

After breakfast at Sawyers, we headed to the Three Bears General Store.

After some shopping, we were frozen. We headed to Starbucks grabbed some treats and headed back toward Georgia.

We had a great little mountain getaway. Love to spend time with my family.

Monday morning, we worked on some laundry and straightening up. Then we met up for lunch with Aunt Dot. We have missed her, and it was so awesome to spend some time with her!

Tuesday, we went with Shannon and the kids to Adventure Air Sports. The kids had so much fun!

Addison and Sutton kept talking each other in and out of going down these slides. Finally, Addison got up the nerve to go down. She screamed so loud. I think the whole place heard it! We were cracking up!  Sutton never worked herself up to going down it.

Love all these cuties!

Wednesday, we took a little road trip to the Ink museum in Gainesville.

We took the girls when they were 3, and they have begged to go back.

They performed a puppet show for us. I snapped a picture of Addison hanging out the back. lol

I love the idea of these sensory noodles. This would be a great addition to any school’s therapy room.

We got back home and Addison asked to spend the night. Sutton was already planning to stay the night, so of course, we wanted her to stay too!

Milo just fit right in as one of them.

We headed back to Adventure air sports on Friday to meet up with Britney, Caroline and all the kids. They had a blast but were definitely excited about chips and queso. #queso

That is all for all our break!

I’ll see you back on Friday, friends!
