**What’s up Wednesday** {3.26.2025}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month. I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
Sunday: Mom cooked- Pork Loin, Sautéed vegetables, hash brown casserole, blueberry cobbler
Monday: Chicken & Mushroom Butter Rice Casserole
Tuesday: Spaghetti
Wednesday: Leftover Casserole
Thursday: Leftover spaghetti
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Kitchen’s closed!
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
I remember back in 2020 when everything shut down, and we thought it was just going to be for a few days. How funny we were.
We spent lots of time outside this year.

In 2022, we went from this…

To this… That was a rough few weeks.
She was such a trooper and the best patient!

And here is last year giving lots of Milo puppy snuggles. He has grown so much!

3. What I’m Loving:
I am loving all the Spring flowers. It makes me excited to plant.

4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We started off the month having a night out with friends! Queso is always a good time.

We enjoyed going to watch the Atlanta Hawks play.

We have had a lot of dress up days this month.

We started soccer.

Addison’s artwork was on display at our local university. We were invited to go view it.

Joey and I enjoyed a date night.

5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m not really dreading a whole lot right now. I would like the pollen to not get so bad… I hate when I feel like you can’t spend time outside because everything is covered.
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on some packing.
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am really excited about all the fun things we have planned next month.
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
I’ve been reading Broken Country. It had great reviews and was on Reese’s Book club list, so I thought I would give it a try. It’s really good so far!
Here’s what Amazon says.
Beth and her gentle, kind husband Frank are happily married, but their relationship relies on the past staying buried. But when Beth’s brother-in-law shoots a dog going after their sheep, Beth doesn’t realize that the gunshot will alter the course of their lives. For the dog belonged to none other than Gabriel Wolfe, the man Beth loved as a teenager—the man who broke her heart years ago. Gabriel has returned to the village with his young son Leo, a boy who reminds Beth very much of her own son, who died in a tragic accident.
As Beth is pulled back into Gabriel’s life, tensions around the village rise and dangerous secrets and jealousies from the past resurface, this time with deadly consequences. Beth is forced to make a choice between the woman she once was, and the woman she has become.
A sweeping love story with the pace and twists of a thriller, Broken Country is a novel of simmering passion, impossible choices, and explosive consequences that toggles between the past and present to explore the far-reaching legacy of first love.

Still watching Younger, on Netflix. I love it!

9. What I’m Listening To:
I have some 90s country music playing right now.
10. What I’m Wearing:
Here’s some snaps of my Wendy Jeans from Avara. They are very much trending and are so cute!

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
This weekend we will be headed out of town for Spring Break!
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
I’m looking forward to a beach trip getaway and celebrating Easter.
Also happy about warmer temps and flip flop weather.
13. Favorite Amazon Find:
I ordered these things recently, from Amazon.
We needed some new smore sticks, and these had great reviews! I love how they can extend.
I need to touch up some walls around the house, and I don’t have the energy to repaint everything right now, so these Paint Pens have great reviews and hopefully will be a quick fix.

14. What Else Is New:

Thank you all for reading. I hope you have an awesome day!! See you back here on Friday!

Haha I have a memory that always comes around where I had written “Love is in the air, but so in influenza! Wash your hands!” on my white board at school & then within a month we were shut down for Covid…
