**Hello Monday** {4.21.2025}

Addison’s class had a fun Easter egg hunt on Friday. Her sweet teacher sent me these pictures.

Addison had a sleepover Friday night with Adalynn. We ended up going to pick her up about 10 that night because we had to get up super early for an 8:00 soccer game.
The kids played hard on account of their team not having any subs.

Once we got home, Addison and Joey worked on stuffing some more eggs and dyeing eggs.
Can you tell she was into her red lipstick? Haha!

Meanwhile, I was busy making a strawberry cake for Easter.

Joey was off work on Friday, and he had worked hard around the house. He put out my new slate chips around our patio. I think it will be cleaner than mulch. I guess we will see. We need to get a little bit more to fill it in.

Addison had professional dance pictures starting at 1:30. Of course, they were running behind. We had three different costumes starting with bubble braid pigtails, then doing a criss cross bun.

Then back to the bubble pigtails for jazz pictures.

We got done with pictures about 3:30 and had to run in Publix to grab a few last minute items.
Then we flew by the house, changed clothes very quickly and headed to Adalynn’s house for her family birthday gathering.
Addison was loving on her new cat, Ellie.

I can’t believe our niece is 9.

The girls wanted to race Joey… I was cracking up.

The next morning, Addison was up semi early and excited to see what the Easter bunny had brought.

Milo was excited to get his treat too.

I iced my cake.

I’m going to finish recapping the weekend on another blog day. We had a wonderful Easter celebrating our risen savior with family and friends.
I hope you all have a wonderful week, friends!
