  • **Disney Fall Vacation 2024 Part II** {10.16.2024}

    Happy Wednesday!! How’s everyone doing on this hump day?  Today I’m sharing more from our Disney vacation over Fall break. If you missed part 1, be sure to read it first here.  Due to us being out late the night before at the Halloween party, we chose to do an off day on Monday. We did still get up semi early for a character breakfast.  Love seeing the castle view as we ride the monorail.  We had breakfast reservations at 1900 Park fare which is at the Grand Floridian resort. This is always a favorite, and I’m so glad it’s open again- with new characters. This was so exciting!!  The food…

    Hey Friends!! September 14th we headed to Disney for a girl’s trip. Today I’m sharing part one of our Disney trip recap. 🙂 We got to the resort around 2, threw our things in our room, freshened up a little bit and headed back out because we had dinner reservations.  We headed on the boat from MK to Wilderness Lodge.  Upon arrival, we met a Memory Maker photographer and got him to snap some fun pics.  The resort is gorgeous! We had reservations at Artist Point which is a character meal with Snow White and some other characters.  And then the characters came out.  Then the characters came around for…

  • **July Weekend Trip** {7.17.2024}

    Last weekend, we headed north for one last hoorah for the summer.  Joey worked a half day on Thursday, and we left for Tennessee.  We took the camper. It’s just easier to have our own space. We got set up and headed to grab a pizza.  Addison was begging to get in the pool, so we hurried back for her to do a quick swim.  She also wanted to ride her bike and walk in the river.  We stayed at Sun Outdoors RV Resort and love the location and all the amenities for kids.  Friday morning, Joey went for an early run. This woke the dog up, so I went…

  • **Spring Break Vacation to Gulf Shores** {4.17.2024}

    Happy Wednesday Everybody!! How’s your week going? I feel like I’m crawling to Friday. Haha!  Today, I’m sharing a recap of our Spring Break. We traveled to Gulf Shores, Alabama. I hadn’t been there in many, many years- college. So, it was good to go back. Today’s post is long. I’m trying to fit it all in one post. 🙂 When we made Spring Break plans a year ago, we didn’t realize it also correlated with Easter. It doesn’t always. Well, it did this year, and we just went with it. We knew our holiday would look a lot different than normal, but we were okay with it.  We left…

  • **Camper Prep** {4.10.2024}

    A lot of people have asked questions about our camper. So, today, I’m sharing…. I’m also sharing how we prep for a camping trip.  Here are a few pics of the outside of our 5th wheel camper on some past camping trips. It’s a big one- 42 feet long and has 4 slide outs.  Joey has to do a lot of outside prep. I don’t really have pictures of that. I did snap a few pics of the under compartments where we have loaded them.  He always has to scrub and treat the roof. He washes the entire camper and then waxes it. He has to check the tires and…

    Happy Wednesday friends!!  Today, I’m finally getting around to sharing Part II of our Winter vacation. If you missed Part I, be sure to start reading here.  Thursday, we woke up, went to breakfast, and we started exploring the area.  We headed into the town of Blowing Rock to walk around. It was very cute.  After walking around Blowing Rock, we headed driving down the mountain, toward Lenoir, to see the mountains.  We rode out to The Blowing Rock.  It was so neat! The views were amazing! Thankfully it was a clear day.  We walked around some of the trails.  Joey and Addison actually climbed to the top of the…

  • **Winter Break Vacation to NC Part I** {1.24.2024}

    Today, I’m sharing Part I of our Winter vacation, which also happened to be part of Addison’s Christmas present. We left Tuesday, the day after Christmas, and headed to Boone, NC. Joey and I had never been there before, and we saw there was lots to see and do.  It was a chilly drive up, and we ended up stopping to see the Nantahala river just to stretch our legs.  The weather was very dreary when we got to Boone. We headed to the downtown area to walk around for a bit before we checked into our hotel.  The town was cute.  We loved the Mast General store. So many…
