**Hello Monday** {8.1.2022}

Hey Hey Everybody! Happy Monday! Today is our first official day back at school for our students! I can’t believe it! I’m starting my 15th year! It really has flown by!

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday, we had our Open House. It was so awesome seeing all the sweet kids faces and hanging out with some of my favorite colleagues and sweet sister n’ law. 

We called in lunch for pick up. It was huge and delicious! Plenty leftover for another meal. 

Saturday morning we were up bright and early for soccer Saturday. It was so humid! 

After the game, we headed to Costco. They already have their shackets out in cute colors! 

After we went home and unloaded all the things. We got changed and headed back out to Target. 

This is the face I make when Joey comes with me because he’s hurrying me up and not letting me go down every aisle with a Starbucks in hand. I wanted more! Ha! 

Saturday night, we went to Texas Roadhouse. Joey’s Mom took A to get a pedicure and manicure for back to school. She was showing them off. And also showing off her toothless grin. She lost another front tooth on Saturday.

We had to wait a little bit before our table was ready. But once we settled in, we dug right in to the rolls and cinnamon butter. Delicious!

Sunday morning we enjoyed seeing Grandpa, Granna, Granny Hughes and lots of other friends and family. 

We headed home and the weather was really nice. It was still humid, but the temperatures weren’t too hot. A wanted to build things with some boxes. Then she wanted to play in the sprinkler. Joey decided to go ahead and give her a bath while we were out there. Haha! 

We decided to go for a Sunday drive through some neighboring roads and mountains. Mom cooked for us last night. We had fish, shrimp, broccoli cheese casserole and fried green tomatoes. Then she made a peanut butter pie for dessert. And then I wonder why it’s so hard to lose weight. I sure do love my Mama’s cooking.
