**Friday Favorites** {1.12.2024}

Happy Friday!! This week being the first week back from break has seemed like an eternity. 

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. Today’s post is short and sweet because we have had a really busy week, and I foresee the next few weeks being just as busy. 

Unfortunately, this has been a favorite this week. I have not been feeling well. I had a horrible headache for two days straight, and I was tired of taking so much Advil. I don’t like taking medicine, but it was to the point I was having to take it around the clock. My ears were hurting, also. But, thankfully yesterday, the headache finally went away. 

We had bad storms on Tuesday, and I think the weather had a big factor in the pressure. 

We started back to Dance class and Basketball practice this week. 

I have been really busy getting schedules made and everything prepared to start one of our state assessments next week. 

I also had some successful meetings with teachers and parents. It’s been a good week back. 

After we left school yesterday, we had to make a Target run. Addison wanted to take some silly pictures. 

I am working my way through Bright Lights, Big Christmas, and want to read it as much as possible. Unfortunately, with all the craziness and lack of extra time, it’s falling on the backburner this week. Hopefully this weekend I’ll have some time to knock it out. Have ya’ll read it? 

Bright Lights, Big Christmas

We love that Addison’s school’s playground has ground up black tires. It’s a lot healthier and doesn’t have to be replaced as often. However, it’s killer on the white soles of sneakers. I ordered this SneakEraser from Amazon. I have tried a magic eraser, and it works pretty good, but it tends to tear when I’m scrubbing. So, this had great reviews, and I wanted to try it. 

I love my ON Cloud sneakers, and this pair from Zappos is currently on sale.

And, that’s all for the week. I have a three day weekend coming up, so I may not be in blog world on Monday. It just depends on what we get into this weekend. I hope ya’ll have a great one! Thanks for popping in.
