** Weekend Recap** {11.4.19}

We had a nice weekend. The weather was beautiful. A little chilly but still very sunny and beautiful.

Friday after work, Joey’s dad planned to get Addison for the evening. Joey and I started with a date night to Target. #glorious

Of course it would have been better alone, so I could peruse slowly through all the aisles. #dreaming

When they dropped her off later that evening, she was still going full-force. She’s always 100 mph or 0 mph. There’s not much in between. She does love her Grampa, and her Granna.

Saturday morning, Joey had to go finish up some work. Mom, Addison, and I went to a local Merry Market at one of our churches in town. We found a couple goodies. We decided to shop a little and get some things for her party too.

After Joey got done working, and we got done shopping, we all rode up in the mountains to get some apples, doughnuts, and jelly. The views were beautiful!

Sunday, we just took it slow that morning. The extra hour didn’t really show up around here. With kids, they still get up like normal. lol

Joey went down to visit with his grandpa who has been slowly declining. Addison and I went to the grocery store. When Joey got back, we headed to Costco to grab some things.

When we got back home, I proceeded to let Addison take a nap. #didnthappen

Here she is eating some hummus for a snack.

We got the call Sunday afternoon that Joey’s sweet Grandpa passed away. He was one of the sweetest, most genuine person I have ever met. I never heard him say anything bad about anyone. He will surely be missed, but there’s a comfort in knowing we will see him again and he’s no longer suffering. Today, he would have been 95. He had just recently started declining in health, so it was a blessing to have him so healthy for so many years.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!

xoxo
