*Weekend Recap* {11.25.19}

Today is the first day of our Thanksgiving break, and I’m hoping that I’m sleeping in. At least past 6:00.

I’m sharing about our weekend. It was super low key. Saturday was rainy, so we did a lot of inside work.

One of our teacher’s offered to read a book and do a special lesson with some classes. So, we signed up. She read “Balloons over Broadway” which is just adorable. Then, the student made their own parade using ozobots. It was super cute! They LOVED it! They watched the parade at least 15 minutes. And they were sooo excited the whole time!

Saturday was so yucky! It was pouring all morning and most of the afternoon. That morning I cleaned and then asked Joey to help me bring up the Christmas decorations. Well, this is what happened when I plugged in the tree. I want a new tree, but they are so expensive.

Addison had dance recital rehearsals that afternoon. It was pouring rain. After we left there, we went to a couple of stores shopping on the downtown square.

That evening we went to Henry’s for dinner. It was very yummy!!

My pasta cream sauce was delicious!! Joey got the shrimp po’boy sandwich.

The town was decorating so cute for Christmas. I took a picture of the train depot. It was darling.

We went to church Sunday morning. This was Addison ham’ing it up before we walked inside.

I had all intentions of doing more Sunday afternoon…. like watching Hallmark movies, putting up more decorations, reading, #important things but….. Joey ended up making a fire and we napped for about an hour.

After we woke up, I did do some tidying up and more decorating. And the good news is, we only broke 4 ornaments.

Here’s Addison making silly faces.

I hope you all have a great day!! I will see you back here on Wednesday for What’s Up Wednesday. 🙂

xoxo
