Sausage Muffins {6.8.2020}

I love to make these muffins for a quick thing to grab for breakfast during the week, something to take on a vacation, or just something to make for a change. They are so good! When I take them to gatherings, they’re always such a hit! And they’re super easy which is the best part! 

1 lb. sausage

1 c. Bisquick (I use the heart smart one but either is fine)

1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar Cheese

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

2/3 c. milk

2 eggs, slightly beaten

 

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Cook sausage until brown. Drain. Put back in pan and add cream cheese. Heat until well-blended

In a bowl, stir together Bisquick, eggs, and milk. 

Add mixture with sausage. Add in cheddar cheese. 

Pour into greased muffin tins. (1/4 c. per tin)

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown 

I always let mine cool on a cooling rack.
