**Hello Monday** Happy New Year 2021 {1.3.2021}
Hey everybody… I can’t believe my break is already over, and we are back at school. It really flew by, but it was so great to spend time with my family. Did everyone have a great holiday?
Today, I’m sharing a little of what we have been up to lately….
One of my besties, Katy came down. Addison absolutely loves her!
One morning, I treated myself to a Cold Brew and a pedicure. 🙂
It’s been really dreary and gloomy in Georgia lately.. has it been that way where you live?
We celebrated New Years Eve with hot dogs, cheese dip, fireworks and sparkling grape juice. We had so much fun! Of course, we didn’t make it to the ball drop, but we celebrated until about 10:30 and did the countdown then. 😉
Our sparklers and fireworks turned out to be very pretty!
On New Year’s Day, we had the traditional meal of pork, collard greens, black eyed peas, mac-n-cheese and cornbread. Do you guys have the same meal for luck in the new year?
Joey got called into work that day and ended up working late. 🙁 Addison and I ate at my Mom and Dads.
and had some Apple Pie for dessert. Holy cow it was all so good!
I ordered this shirt from Target. It’s super comfy and going to be perfect to throw on and wear around the house or for running errands. I ordered the pink, but it comes in a lot of other cute colors. I may have to get the cream. I love it too!
Saturday morning, I worked on more cleaning and organizing inside the house. Joey worked on cleaning and organizing in the playroom and outside. We ate a snack and then took off North to go riding around. We wanted to check out a new campground to see if we might be interested going there for a weekend trip sometime.
Well, we made the hour and a half drive and when we got up there, they wouldn’t let us drive through to look at it. 🙁 Oh well, we got a map and headed back towards home. We ended up going to grab burgers for dinner.
We worked on a little bit of school work.
We hadn’t been able to have Christmas with Joey’s dad because of sickness. So, Sunday afternoon, we were finally all able to get together to do Christmas. It was so fun! The girls were so excited!! They had really missed their Grandpa Chick Chick and Granna.
They got them the coolest Barbie airplane and helicopter and a….
Star Belly!! Addison has been begging for one of these for months. She was super excited!!
They also got them a Frozen Chapstick set and stickers to go on their nails. They are ready! Haha!
I hope you all have a great start to your week! See you back here on Wednesday for a recipe. 🙂

Fun celebration!
We are back to school again as wee, and starting the new year with a 2 hour delay because of icy roads!

We don’t have the same meal every New Years– other than Thanksgiving we tend to mix it up quite a bit with all our holiday menus. I had never heard of good luck foods until I began blogging! We have literally never eaten collard greens or black eyes peas.
