**What’s Up Wednesday** Goodbye 2020 {12.30.2020}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month and the last Wednesday of 2020. Peace out 2020. It’s not really been nice knowing you. 

 I am sharing a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us lately. I know we all thought this year would never end, yet here we are. 🙂 

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

 

Sunday: Leftover Italian- I had Chicken Fettuccini and Joey had Chicken Parmigiana 

Monday: Chili (pictures below) 

Tuesday: Baked Ritz cracker chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans

Wednesday: Leftover chili

Thursday: Leftover Chicken 

Friday: Traditional New Year’s food- Pork, Collards, Mac-n-cheese, Blackeye Peas

Saturday: Eating Out

2. What I’m Reminiscing About: 

This was from 4 years ago, our first Christmas with our little nugget. I remember all the baby things everywhere…. 

She was so tiny. 

3 years ago….

Wow! Our babies were so little. Sweet babies #bestiesforlife

2 years ago… I just love all the Christmas memories. 

3. What I’m Loving:

I’m loving all this time at home with Addison. 

I’m LOVING my Phone Soap. It’s been great for this germaphobe. I would highly recommend getting one. 

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

Playing with all the new toys/things.

We always cook breakfast Christmas morning. Sadly, only part of our family could join us. #hateCovid 

We still had fun though. 

Christmas night we went to have Christmas with my parents. 

Mom dressed as Mrs. Claus.

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m dreading having to go back to work after all our fun family time. 

6. What I’m Working On: 

I’m working on making our budget for next month, organizing all the Christmas and this blog post….

7. What I’m Excited About: 

I’m excited about being able to see and spend time with some family that have been sick. I just hope that the sickness recedes in the new year. 

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

I finished up Tayshia’s Bachelorette season last week. I enjoyed it way better than Clare. 

Been watching all the Christmas movies. These 2 were a fave. 

Joey and I started watching “The Crown” on Netflix. We have only watched two episodes and love it so far! There’s so much history that I just wasn’t aware of. 

I just finished “The Return” by Nicholas Sparks, one of my all-time favorite authors. And this book, like most of his, did not disappoint. It’s about an injured Navy doctor, who returns to a childhood town, unexpectedly to take care of some family issues. He comes across two mysterious women that will change his life forever.  

I am currently reading “Happily this Christmas” by Susan Mallery. I have read many of her books and have enjoyed them. This one is proving to continue along that trend. It’s a very easy read, and I’m breezing through this one and enjoying it. 

Any other recommendations on what I should read next? 

9. What I’m Listening To: 

We have been listening to all the Christmas music and have been loving it. I guess eventually, we will have to change the genre. 🙁

10. What I’m Wearing: 

I’m continuing to wear this sweater from Amazon. It is so soft and looks like a much higher quality than Amazon. I would highly recommend getting one! With over 1500, 4.5+, reviews, you need one too! It does run big, and if you wanted to, you could size down.

Joey got me these BudHa girl Serenity prayer bangles for Christmas, and I LOVE them! They are so comfy and look great with everything. 

Mom and I went to the Loft on Monday to return some things. We tried on a few things and loved these items. 

This Lou and Grey Sweatshirt was amazing! So soft, and a cute fit!

This sweater was beautiful as well. 

We didn’t end up getting them and began regretting it later. We are hopeful for a sale this weekend and will snag them.

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend: 

I’m sure we will be cleaning and organizing all the things and taking down the outside decorations. 

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

I’m looking forward to starting a fresh, new year.
