**What’s up Wednesday** {11.24.2021}

It’s the last Wednesday of the month, so you know what that means. I’m linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I am sharing everything that’s been going on around here this past month. It is crazy that we only have one more What’s up Wednesday link up left after this one for 2021.

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

This week, we had a whole bunch of random in preparation for Turkey day on Thursday. 

Sunday: I got home late from my girl’s trip. I didn’t eat anything this night. I was still stuffed. Addison ate a slice of cheese pizza. Joey didn’t eat anything either because he ate a big lunch after church. 

Monday: Chicken Tortilla Soup

Tuesday: Baked Ziti

Wednesday: Not really sure. Probably whatever anyone can grab since I’ll be preparing for tomorrow’s meal. 

Thursday: All the things… I’m cooking Turkey, Mac-n-Cheese, Hashbrown Casserole, Fried Okra, Deviled Eggs, Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake and Orange Watergate Salad

Friday: Probably leftovers or a hotdog. That will probably be good about now. 

Saturday: Kitchen’s closed! 

2. What I’m Reminiscing About: 

All these memories from 5 years ago when Addison was born is making me so emotional. She was so tiny.

This was when we all went to Dollywood for Thanksgiving 4 years ago. 

Since we just got back from our annual girl’s trip. This was from last year when we all four went to Asheville. Love these girls and love these trips. 

3. What I’m Loving:

I told you all last week about my new obsession with this Gevalia Frothy Caramel Macchiato. Have you tried it? It’s soooo good! Trust me!

I grabbed this platter at Target earlier this week to slice my turkey on. I love the beaded edge because it matches my plates from Pottery Barn.

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

It’s been a busy month. Unfortunately, we have had some sickness this month, but I think Addison and I are finally on the mend. 

We had a blast celebrating her 5th birthday, Disney Princess style. 

Enjoyed lots of extra snuggles this month while she and I were sick. 

Already started getting into the Christmas spirit with Starbucks Holiday drinks and pops. 

I went on a girl’s trip this past weekend to Nashville. We were one bestie short, and we were super sad and missing her. However, we still laughed so hard we peed our pants many times. 😉 

Went to visit Caroline this week to hopefully cheer her up. Took her some “Woin”. 😉 #ifyaknowyaknow

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m not really dreading anything right now. 😉 

 

6. What I’m Working On: 

I’m working on getting my Fall decorations put away and get out my Christmas things. This picture right here sums up the transition. 

7. What I’m Excited About: 

I am so excited about all the Holiday and family things that will be happening in the next few weeks. I just love this time of year! 

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

We have been watching the new Season of Yellowstone, and holy cow it’s intense. It’s almost to the point that I can’t watch it. I am not a huge fan of all the language. I wish they would tone that down just a little bit. 

Of course I’ve been watching all of the Christmas Hallmark movies. 

I haven’t really been watching anything else. What else do I need to be watching? 

I have a whole bunch of books ready to read, on my nightstand, but I have just been in a book lull right now. Anyone have any good Holiday books to recommend? Or a feel good/light read. I need something happy and light to read right now. 

9. What I’m Listening To: 

I’m listening to Christmas Music on my Echo, and I’m loving it! 

10. What I’m Wearing: 

I have been in need for some new bras. I ordered a few new ones off of Amazon and am hoping they live up to the hype. They are both by Warner.

I found a bunch of Walmart sweaters that really hit it out of the park. The sleeves on all of them are so fun! They are all by the same brand. I grabbed this one in 2 different colors. The tan color and the gray. With the price being $19.00 right now, you just can’t beat it.

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend: 

I know that I will be throwing down some shopping on Friday for Black Friday. I may do some Small Business Saturday shopping too. I am also planning to continue to put out my Christmas decorations. 

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

13. What Else is New:

This right here is so true. 

You guys, Walmart and Target are continuing to hit it out of the park with Black Friday deals. Have you gotten a lot of great prices on things?
