**Friday Favorites** Thanksgiving Break! Black Friday Deals {11.26.2021}

Happy Black Friday!! Happy day after Thanksgiving! I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday and ate all the delicious things.

Per the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing all about our favorites from the week, and I’m sharing some sales that you don’t want to miss!

Last weekend, while I was off on my girl’s trip, Addison had lots of fun at Sutton’s painting party.

My beautiful, little artist. She had a great time!

Monday, I worked on removing my Fall things, so my house didn’t look like this….in between Fall & Christmas.

Addison wanted to decorate her tree, so that’s what we did.

We went outside and enjoyed some scooter time. Addison got this scooter from Amazon, for her birthday, and it’s been a great hit!

On Tuesday, Addison and I made the trek down to see Caroline and the girls (and Mark). Addison was so excited!!

Claire is 2 months older than Addison, however, my child is so tall, she is always the tallest amongst our friends.

We had a delicious lunch complete with BBQ sauce and Ranch. The girls were so good and sweet. I just wanted to squish them all day.

Addison and Claire were the best babysitters and entertainers while we shopped.

We rewarded them with ice cream.

We asked the girls to get our picture, so we could remember this day. This is what we got. Ha! Not bad for 5 year olds.

Wednesday, I tutored in the morning and worked on some prep and pre-baking. When Joey got home, I whipped up a mean grilled cheese and some tomato soup. We snuggled in that evening and watched Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Have you guys ever watched it? It’s from the 80s and has Steve Martin & John Candy in it. I laughed so many times.

Admiring the tree. I just love this time of year. And cheers for me. 😉

Thursday, we were up early, and we were working feverishly in the kitchen to get everything prepared in time. While we were cooking, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was on, of course.

The turkey is cooking.

Hashbrown Casserole was getting bubbly.

The okra was frying nicely, and the Mac N Cheese was waiting to go in the oven.

The deviled eggs and Orange Watergate Salad were chilling in the fridge.

The Toffee Apple Pie and Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake were ready to go.

Here’s the finished product. She’s not too pretty to look at, but she had a great flavor. And I don’t even like turkey. Ha!

We had lunch with Joey’s Mom and Uncles around 1. We visited for a while, then packed up and headed home to get a little rest before Black Friday shopping early in the morning.

Here’s my sweater: Cozy Mock Neck Sweater

Here are the deals I’ve spotted so far.
