**Christmas Break Part I** {1.3.2022}
Happy 2022! Wow, that sounds strange. How was your Christmas and New Years? Despite some sickness, we had a great one! Today and Wednesday, I’m going to share all about the fun we had during our Christmas break.
Joey got off work a little early on the Thursday before Christmas, and Addison and I picked him up and headed toward Stone Mountain to meet up with Britney and her little family.
They had lots of little shows and characters for the kids. We loved it all.
The 4D Polar Express experience was fun!
When we came out of the theater, it was dark, and the parade was about to begin.
After the parade, we walked over to see Santa fly in and light up the tree.
We gave out hugs and said our goodbyes. We had a great time! If you live near Stone Mountain, I would definitely recommend it!
The next day was Christmas Eve, and we were up early and excited for Christmas get togethers that evening.
My sweet, big 5 year old in front of our Christmas tree. We headed to Joey’s Granny’s house first.
After his Granny’s, we headed to my Papa’s house.
Santa arrived. Addison said to me, “I know it’s Parker.” Hahaha!
We played Reindeer games. And laughed way too hard.
Addison loved all her presents.
We got home fairly late, and Addison opened her Christmas Eve present which always consists of a new book with her Christmas pajamas to wear to bed.
Luckily, Santa had put together most of the items ahead of time. So, we weren’t up too late. I remember one year, Joey waited until the night of Christmas Eve to put together her little kitchen. He was up for hours trying to put that together. #lessonlearned
She was up bright and early checking out all of her goodies.
We had our usual Christmas morning breakfast. All of the Grandparents came over.
After everyone left, we did our Christmas.
Christmas night, we headed to Joey’s Mom’s house for her Christmas.
And then we played games.
I think I shall stop there. I still have another Christmas to share and a trip. I will do Part II on Wednesday. I also plan to share some of our favorite gifts that we received. I will probably share those on Friday. I hope you all have a great start to your first week of 2022.
