**Weekend Recap** {5.2.2022}

Hello May!! We are so happy to see you! Wow, this year is flying by! We just have a few more weeks of school, and it will be summer! We are counting down! 

Today, I’m sharing all about our weekend which consisted of a lot of outside time! 

Friday, I drove down to get a pedicure right after school. After that, I met Joey at Costco to grab our usual items. 

I picked up Addison at Joey’s Mom’s house. Then, we went home, ate dinner, and settled in for an early bedtime. It was glorious! 

Saturday morning, we got up early and headed north, to the mountains. 

My parents camped this weekend, so we wanted to go up to hang out with them for a little while and enjoy the day. 

We love this campground and have stayed at it many times. It is about a 2 hour drive from our house. We hadn’t been there since May 2020, so it was great to go. It’s one of our favorites! 

We enjoyed some lunch… and even grabbed an ice cream. 

Addison kept wanting to do a tour of all of the playgrounds throughout the campground. Ha! 

We played putt putt golf. Dad won, then me, Joey, then Mom. Not really sure what Addison scored. She kept going ahead of us and guessing what number she got. 😉 

We love the creek area. A little too cold to get in at this time. 

Way up there, on the tippy tip top of that mountain is the lookout at Bald Mountain. This is the tallest point in Georgia. 

Smile. Love my girl. 

Dad & Mom tried to get us to eat with them, but they had a concert to get to, and we didn’t want to hold them up. So, we headed back toward home and stopped in Blue Ridge for some delicious pizza. It’s a unique place, but the food was great! 

Sunday, Addison and I did some store shopping. We headed to Home Goods and grabbed a few things. 

Then, Target run! She had to have a pop at Starbucks. #happygirl

Last night, I grilled some burgers and we had those with some baked beans and hash brown casserole. 

Then, it was time for baths and getting ready for school and work. On Wednesday, I plan to share a great recipe for the summer time! I hope you guys have a wonderful start to your week!
