**Hello Monday** {8.15.2022}

Well guys, here we are again back at Monday. How was your weekend? Ours was pretty chill. I got some much needed rest. 

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday, we sent in some books off Mrs. Lindsey’s Wish List and a little gift card to brighten her day!

Friday night, we had Family Movie Night. We watched a Throwback “A Goofy Movie”. I remember watching it when I was little. I may have dozed off a little while we watched. Ha! Addison enjoyed it! 

Addison had a Soccer game Saturday morning. She was so excited to have her normal cheering committee along with Aunt Dot! 

Not long after the game, Mom & Dad picked her up in the Jeep to take her for a short ride. When they got home, she helped Nonna make Fried Apple Pies & Tartes. My little baker. They were delicious!

Addison planned to spend the night with my Mom & Dad so Joey and I went on a little date night. We enjoyed some delicious Italian at Ipps. Then we walked around the downtown area a bit to let our food settle. 

Meanwhile, Addison was having the time of her life riding in the Jeep, eating Cheese Nachos, and Ice Cream. 

Sunday morning, Joey got up around 6 and took off for a run. I was to pick him up once I got the call. While he was gone, I worked on this post as well as some laundry and other organizing. 

I picked him up around 8:45. He ran about 13.3 miles. We went and picked up Addison and decided to do a little drive to Kennesaw Mountain. This is where Joey goes to run a lot of days during his lunch. He was going to drive us to the top. But we realized they don’t allow cars to drive up to the top on the weekends. So, sigh, we didn’t really want to do the 5 mile walk straight up today. 

Then, we drove over to a different part of the Mountain to do some trail walking. Of course Addison steps in dog poop. #onlymychild 😉

We drove over to the little airport and Addison played a little bit after we ate a snack of crackers and chips. We saw lots of planes come in to land. 

After some play time, we decided to try out this Creamery. I have heard lots about it, but we’re never in the area. So, we decided to go since we were nearby. It was really interesting. They mix all the ingredients and then freeze the cream with Dry Ice. It’s really neat to watch! I’ve never seen anything like it. 

I got Brownie, Addison got Birthday Cake, and Joey got Chocolate Peanut Butter. 

When we left there we went to visit with one of Joey’s Grannys. We hadn’t seen her in a couple of months, so it was good to see her and visit.
