**Hello Monday** {5.8.2023}

Hello Friends, we officially only have two more Mondays left this school year! So happy and ready! 

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

So true right now! 😉 

Friday, being Cinco de Mayo, I wanted to do something a little fun for the teachers. I had called about 5 different Mexican restaurants and finally got a yes with Mr. Joe’s Taco trucks! They were the best hit!! Delicious! 

I had to work a little late Friday.. I was trying to get everything prepared for this week and things weren’t lining up. However, I finally was able to dip out about 4:15. We all were taking Dad out for his birthday. We headed to one of his faves, Copelands. The desserts are always my faves. LOL

We came back to the house and did presents. I found him a Jeep shirt from the OBX. 

Saturday was our last soccer game for the season. We were really sad to see it end. Joey’s Granny came with us, and it was very sweet. 

Even though we were missing lots of players and only had four, we came out with a win. So proud of this little team and the coach. 

We stopped and grabbed milkshakes on the way home as a treat. Then we headed home to spend some time outside in the beautiful sunshine. 

Saturday night, we had another birthday celebration. Emily turned 18, and we loved embarrassing her by singing loudly. Hahaha! 

Joey left to head to the airport about 3:30 yesterday morning. He’s flying to Philly for a work trip. 

Mom came to the house, and we headed to our favorite strawberry patch to pick the best berries. 

It was a gorgeous day! However, after about 15 minutes Addison was complaining that she was hot. #hotmessexpress

We got almost 3 buckets full and headed back up to pay and grab some ice cream. The best! 

We got back, and we headed to grab some bubble wands for Addison’s class party and made a Target run. 

After dropping Mom off, Addison and I headed home to wash the berries, do some laundry, I gave her a bath, then work on Addison’s book report that’s due Wednesday. 

We went up to Dad & Mom’s to eat dinner with them. Once returning back home, I made lunches, cut up strawberries to put in the fridge and freezer, read A a book, then sat down to work on this post.
