**Friday Favorites** {11.17.2023}

Happy Friday!!! We have had a crazy busy week, and we are so pumped that it’s Friday and the start of Thanksgiving break!

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Tuesday, I had a county office meeting, so I got to be normal and drop Addison off in the car rider line. She was eating Thanksgiving lunch with Adalynn and Penny/Grandma. So, I went ahead and had her wear her Thanksgiving outfit.

She was so excited Grandma came to eat lunch. Such a special time.

Tuesday, after school, was a little crazy… I didn’t get out of my meeting until 4. Cindy brought Addison to the house. We scarfed down some dinner before having to be at dance class at 4:45.

I had to go pick up Addison’s class birthday cupcakes at Publix. Get her Winter recital costume at the studio. She finished class at 5:45. We had to drive about 15 minutes and be ready for basketball practice to begin at 6.

That night, we got one last picture of our 6 year old. 🙁

The next morning was her birthday!!

She is 7!! Well, technically, not until 11:16 pm that night, but we called it anyway. 😉

The Birthday girl had the best day! It was actually her class’s day to have Thanksgiving lunch, so I joined.

Ya’ll should know by now, I’m scattered… I call it organized chaos. I always have a million things going on and going through my mind.

So, I had to drop off a huge trunk load of things/decorations/carafe’s to Aunt Dot’s house that afternoon. My arms would full with 2 carafe’s a big bag of serving platters, then my normal purse and school/laptop bag. Addison had her backpack, jacket and the big box of cupcakes to carry.

I tell myself, we can do it, we can make this long walk with one trip. #wrong

We walk outside, and the wind blows he birthday crown across the parking lot. I’m like, it’s okay, let it go. We will get it after we drop this in the car. She gets to the side of her door and drops the box of cupcakes. They all tumble upside down onto the pavement. There were only about 7 left. And, it was my fault. But, oh well. That’s my life. Haha!

I get in the car, and I have no phone. So, we get in the car, and I drive around to a door closer to my office. I go inside and remember that my office key is in my purse. So, I go back to my car, get my key. Then finally find my phone. #sigh

We stopped at the Spirit Rock to snap some pictures. Chalktales did an amazing job on her rock! Loved it!

We finally get home and again am running around doing all the things. But, we were finally good to go by the time family arrived for birthday dinner 🙂

Do you like our birthday candle? Ha!! We left the 7 candle at the art place from over the weekend. And, I didn’t have any other candles. So, we improvised. lol

Addison and Adalynn enjoyed playing with Barbie Makeup Artist Magazine

She got lots of awesome things! She was so excited!

Yesterday, we celebrated our Principal’s birthday by dressing up in mourning. We are mourning his youth. We got him a card that said “You’re welcome, we are your gift!” Haha! He thought it was hilarious!

Here we are all in black in “mourning”.

Our Admin team provided us a delicious Thanksgiving meal. It was so thoughtful and definitely made everyone’s day better!

Yesterday was Starbuck’s Red cup day. This little holiday red cup is a favorite.

On the day of mourning, I wore these Mia Chelsea boots! Most sizes are out of stock right now.  However, these Target Celina boots are awesome too and are 30% off right now at Target!

I ordered this Merry sweatshirt for Addison, from Etsy! It’s so cute, and I can’t wait for it to come in! There are so many different color combo options. I went with the red and white glitter letters. Right now it’s on sale for 25% off! It comes in sizes 4 years to 16/18, so lots of size options too! 🙂

I also love shopping on Jane.com. Do you guys shop on there? I find some of the best things from there. I just ordered a 24 day Elftivities set, and I can’t wait for it to get here! It has great reviews, and looks to be very organized. 🙂

On Wednesday, I shared an all about Addison post in celebration of her birthday. If you want to read it, check it out here

That is all for our week! So, I’m going to take off for most of the week and spend quality time with my family! I’m so very thankful for all of you! My prayer is that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. Enjoy every minute of it!

My plan is to be back on Friday to share Black Friday sales! Be sure to follow me on Facebook & Instagram where I’ll be sharing deals as well! 🙂
