**Hello Monday** {1.8.2024}

Hey friends!!! I’m baaaack!!! I had a wonderful two weeks off and am ready to get back into a routine. It helps me in all aspects of my life even though I can appreciate some lounging around time. 😉 

Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend and beginning of our New Year .

The day after Christmas, Joey, Addison, and I went on a little getaway to North Carolina. I will share all about our trip in a later post. 

We got back home late on December 30th. On New Years Eve, we went to Costco and got a new TV for our back patio. We were excited to ring in the new year, hopefully, part of the night outside. 

I made some wings and fries in our new air fryer. It’s great and has so many awesome features!

We bundled up, made a fire, turned on the heater and snuggled in for some TV on the patio. We were ready with our horns and head pieces. 

Addison was excited about sparklers. We didn’t make it until midnight, but we celebrated as long as we could. lol 

Addison got a smart sketcher projector and has loved drawing things on it. I would definitely recommend this as a great gift idea!

Cindy and I took the girls to the movies on Wednesday. We watched Wonka, and it was so cute! We all really enjoyed it! 

Thursday, Addison and I had a lot of shopping and errands to do. We enjoyed our girl time together. 

On Friday, we met up with Cindy, Shannon and all the kids and ate lunch. Then, we headed to the ice skating rink. I know it’s ice, but it was cold! 

Addison took it real easy, hanging out mostly on the wall. I didn’t even attempt to go out there. I would have probably broken something. 

Nolan was sweet and pushed her around for a bit. Then, she got a little more brave and started pushing him around. She stayed on the ice more than she stayed upright. Haha! 

When we got home, we had a present on the porch. Addison wants it in her room. 🙂

Friday evening, I headed with Mom and Aunt Dot to my Aunt Melessa’s cabin in the mountains. We were having a girl’s weekend. 

Saturday, we just took it easy around the cabin. We watched a lot of HGTV and Hallmark. It was great! 

Then, we got ready, and headed to walk around in Blue Ridge. It was very windy and very chilly. 

We ate a delicious meal at the Black Sheep and had a great time. 

We left yesterday around lunch, to head back home. So many laughs and fun times were had. 

Once I was home, it was full business- unpacking, straightening up, cleaning, and getting prepared to head back to school. 

I ordered this sweatshirt pullover from Amazon, and it’s great! It’s perfect for lounging around or even wearing to run some errands. I love the little ruffle detail and the slits on the side. I got the Heathered gray color, but it comes in lots of options! I paired it with my Lululemon Align leggings and my Uggs.
