**Milo Updates** {3.13.2024}
Today I’m sharing some updates on how it’s going with our now 4 month old puppy, Milo.
I mean it’s a good thing he’s cute. Haha!
Milo has now had all his puppy shots and is good on those for a year. Thank goodness!
He usually does pretty well on car rides. However, Sunday, we took him for a ride. He was sitting in Addison’s lap, and he did get sick. I really think it was from just jostling around in her lap.
Potty training has gotten better, however, it is definitely not under control. I feel like I’m constantly taking him outside, and I’m constantly cleaning up accidents. Please tell me it gets easier. Haha!
He was doing better sleeping in his crate all night. However the last couple weeks, he’s still wanting to get up around 2 or 3. He whines and barks, and even though he’s in the living room, we hear him and wake up. Joey solved that problem by putting him in the basement at night. We have been able to sleep, and he’s been sleeping with no accidents. Everyone is happy.
He loved his bed… however, I realized that I may have given it to him too early. He’s a puppy, and he wants to chew and tear up everything. Hence, the bottom of his bed. 🙁
The Calming dog bed has not started doing its most important job. Hahaha!
Addison still loves him, and loves playing with him.
We have been using this Tug Leash and have been happy with it! It comes in lots of different colors.
He has not been great to train with not biting and barking. When Addison and I try to walk in the house, he nips and bites our legs and ankles. He thinks he’s playing and just wants our attention, but it hurts. I have many friends who have used this training collar and have been very successful with helping reduce biting. I am willing to try anything at this point.
Our last visit with the vet, we did determine that our dog may be sensitive to the food we were giving him. We changed his food and starting trying the Purina Pro Plan Puppy Sensitive Stomach and Royal Canin brands and have been happy with the reduction of accidents. 😉
That’s all for today. I am not an expert, at all. Any and all advice is welcomed. 🙂
See you on Friday!
